"My son's a champ" I said as we walked out the Doctor's
He had to get about 5 shots and my son ain't cry at all. He just mugged the shit out of everyone.
"Duh he gets it from me" Leah flipped her hair
"Girl gone somewhere. Know damn well he gets his toughness from me" I mushed her head
"Yeah yeah whatever you say" She laughed as we reached the car
"Keep laughing but when I run yo ass over don't say shit" I laughed putting Vontae in the car strapping him in.
She got in the car. Once I made sure he was straight I got in myself. I started the car and pull off.
"So what you on for the rest of day?" I asked her
"Heading over to my Herb's house"
I looked over at her and raised my eyebrow
"You still on good terms with them?"
"Uh yeah I guess" She shrugged "I'm still not letting my guard down but I'm trying to give him a chance"
"What you going over there for?"
"I'm taking Vontae to see them since they haven't seen them since he was born and I'm going to try and make peace with Payton"
"Ight now you really joking with me. You gonna squash shit with Payton?" I laughed
"What's so funny about that?" She mugged me
"Leah you are the most stubborn ass person I've ever met and not only that but ya'll two hate each other since ya'll was little ass kids"
"I know that JR but I was talking to Kareem yesterday and he made me realize that Payton's Ja'Vontae's aunt and should be involved. I mean it's petty shit anyways so it don't really matter anymore" She shrugged
I was actually surprised that this was coming out of her mouth. Everyone in the damn world know Leah stubborn as shit. She will literally stop talking to you for the dumbest shit ever. Like back when she was in 5th grade her best friend stole her damn crayon box so she beat her ass and to this day she don't talk to her or accept that girls apology. So for her to forgive her sister after she shot her is shocking as shit.
"Well I'm proud of you kid" I said as we pulled up
We got out the car getting Vontae and his things before heading inside
Walking in I walked to the living room putting the car seat on the couch and taking him out
"You know I can't wait until he starts walking and talking. My son gonna have all the hoes"
"The hell he not. I wish he would come home with different bitches. Each of them hoes getting they ass beat along with his ass" Leah said
