Dancing Snow

Snow lands on an ice flower field

surrounding each in a white blanket.

The wind blows the ice lilies.

They snuggle into the fluffy snow.

Suddenly, the snow

stops.

And there it lay:

 silent, serene, unblemished.

A small gust of wind whispers across the field unchallenged.

A swirl of snow is uplifted.

It dances upon the field.

I sit there and watch the snow waltz

through the snow-dusted window pane.
