When He Has A Nightmare

-Gore warning-

Sweat dripped down Raphaels face as fire erupted through every corner. His eyes full of worry; his actions, rapid.
Where's my y/n?

The fire grew larger, burning Raphaels skin. He had to move or he'd be killed in matter of minutes. His feet raced against the concrete floor; his head looked from side to side, looking for you.

You're life mattered to him the most right now.

"Y-y/n!" He shouted, his pace coming to a stop.

His heart sounded like a drum as it beat against his chest. His hands were sweaty and his head was throbbing.

    "R-raph..." your voice croaked out.

    Raphael stopped instantly, looking besides him. His eye widened in pure fear and shock when he saw your body laying still on the ground, blood oozing out from your neck.

    He raced over to you, kneeling down beside you as he gripped your cold hand in his. Spite all the fire and flames you were still cold, that was what made him worry the most.

     "Y/n! No no no! What happened?!"

      A bloody smile appeared on your lips as you slowly lifted your hand up to the side of Raphael's face. With a struggle and slight hesitation you began speaking,

      "The Shredder, he got to me before you could help. Y-you need to... to run, Raph. He- he is coming."

      Raphael's reared spilled from his eyes as he gripped your hand tighter, worried that if he let go that your body would disappear.

     How could this happen?! He though to himself, how could I let her die!

   "I can't lose you! You're my world, Y/n! I just need to get Donnie he-"

    "Raph, stop. It's okay. I'll always be..." you stop as blood drickles down your lips. "With you..."

    You let out your last breath, your heart stopped ticking like a clock. Your eyes closed for a few moments, but soon enough, they opened.

    Raphael called out your name for what seemed like hours. The girl he hopelessly fell in love with was now dead, how could he live with himself that he wasn't there to protect you?

    His dry lips connect to your forehead as more of his cold tears fall against your face, rolling down to soak your shirt.
  
    "I-I'm sorry, y/n. I'm so sorry!" He shouts as if you could hear him.

   Raphael began to cradle you in his arms, rocking back and forth. Then suddenly, a low voice erupted from behind him.

   "Raphael Hamato, y/n is dead. Now it's your turn to feel the pain that I felt."

   Chills ran up Raphael's spin, he knew exactly who this person was.

   The Shredder.

   "You- you killed her!" Raphael shouted, placing your body gently back on the ground.

   He stood up, pulling out his sais, ready to fight for you. Shredder armed himself as well, charging at your turtle.

   The battle lasted hours and Raphael was soon starting to get tired.

   Raphael slipped, causing him to fall right into Shredders blade.

   The red masked turtle sucked in his last breath, then his eyes shut. Raphael had died....

    Raphael shot up in bed, gasping loudly for air. His heart was beating through his chest, his eyes puffy from crying and himself covered in sweat.

   You walked in to his room momentarily afterwards with a bowl of popcorn and two big, fluffy blankets. Though you dropped the bowl of popcorn when you saw Raphael's appearance.

    "Babe?! What's wrong?!" You ask, running over to him.

    Your turtle looked up at you as more tears ran down from his eyes. "I... um had a nightmare."

    You nod understanding, though were still worried since he looked petrified. Before you could speak, Raph wrapped his arms around you, pulling you against him.

    You simply let him hold you in his arms, letting him calm down. Raphael was more than glad that it was a dream and you were safe, still in his arms.

   "I love you, Y/n."

   You gasped lightly and pulled away from his hug, looking directly into his puffy green eyes.

   You weren't even sure if you wanted to know what he dreamed about, but you were very happy (and worried) that he said those three words to you.

  "Oh, Raph. I love you too."

  And with that, you and him fell back asleep with you in his arms.

   Raphael will never forget to remind you how much he loves you after that dream...
