Chapter 4

Jason's P.O.V. -

Thankfully while we were waiting for our food to get to the table, I was able to text a group of the guys and tell them what was going on. After dinner I told Abby what was happening.

"10:30, Divergent {because can}, me, you, Austin, Mitch, Jason, Jerome, Adam, Preston, Brandon. Sound good?" She kinda squirmed when I said Brandon's name. I kinda just tuned it out.

"Sure! Can we go home so I can change into some jeans and a T-Shirt? Plus I know you want out of that." She said winking. "Why not!" I said. "Austin, you fine with this?" "Yep!" He said. And with that we drove home.

We had changed, grabbed some money and got back into the car. I was nervous. There was 1 girl and 8 guys. This was a problem. But these guys were my closest friends so I mean they wouldn't steal a girl from me would they?

I gulped as we turned into the movie theater parking lot. "Well. Here we are." I said parking and turning the car off. We awkwardly sat there for a few seconds while Abby sent a text. Austin opened his door and got out of the car. I waited until Abby was done. Then the three of us walked up to the front of the theater where the guys were waiting for us.

It took me a minuet to realize that Abby hadn't seen some of the guys for months to a year now. She was walking behind Austin and I. "Hey Jason! Hey Austin!" Mitch, Jerome and Brandon all said. "What's up guys!?" I said. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I moved to the side a bit.

"Abby???!!" Brandon said in awe. Well shit. There goes my night. "Brandon???!!" She said. She ran towards him and hugged him. He picked her up and spun her in a circle.

Mitch came up beside me. "I take it he took your girl?" "Yea." I said looking at my shoes. "Well they haven't seen each other in years. I thought she would've forgotten about him by now." Jerome said as he walked over. I nodded in agreement.

By now the two of them were latched onto each other and talking and talking. He even payed for her ticket. "I hate Brandon at the moment." I told the guys. "I would too!" Austin said. "He pretty much stole Abby from you." I sighed and we all walked into the theater. Abby had her arm intertwined with Brandon's and they were walking behind us.

I sat down in the middle and Abby and Brandon sat down next to me. As the movie started to play, Abby snuggled up against Brandon. I put my hand over my face. Did I just make the biggest mistake of my life?
