His heart cracked, shattering throughout his body, a primal scream shook the air as the walls of the barrier in his head cracked, shattered just like his heart had. Cry's racked his body as he stood there. Head in his Hands. Whole Body Heaving. When he looked up you almost couldn't recognise him. His eyes. That used to hold such joy, the irises had been smashed, shattered into pieces. The sea green of his eyes floating around speckled in the black and white of his eyes. Annabeth. HIS ANNABETH. Gone. His Parents. Gone. All dead by the monster. Gaia will pay. Was the last thought that ran through his head as the grief overtook him.
The Gods looked up as they heard the scream, feeling the raw primal power that accompanied it. They felt their domains being wrenched from them as they watched. They saw the sky darken they saw the Sun and Moon cross, they saw blinding light. They felt divine presence, more divine than the gods combined auras. They opened their eyes to see. The aftermath. The Destruction. The devastation of a fading primordial. They saw the lone figure, standing, in a hurricane of; Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Black matter.
Percy felt only fury, cold, hard, fury. It was one of his only driving forces, the cold, hard fury at the person who killed his soulmate. The battle against the rest of the monsters was a blur until he got to the Earth Primordial, Gaia. Percy saw red, Ares's blessing surrounded him and he lunged forward to start the fight against Gaia.
His hurricane dispelled. His sword flashed in a golden blur. I managed to block it. Just. For the first time I thought of him not as a puny demigod but something I should fear, before I could act on that I felt a presence. I growled, my face curling into a snarl as the presence made itself known. He was getting stronger. This demigod known as Percy Jackson, and that scared me. The thought that I may lose terrified me more than anything. I didn't want to be sent to the eternal resting place of those killed. I wanted to be the ruler. To rule the world, that was my dream.
It was a hard battle, a lone demigod against the primordial of the Earth. You would expect it to be pretty one sided but this demigod was special, everyone could sense that. The only demigod that managed to unlock the primal part, the gods had locked that away. The only demigod to kill a titan, not just a titan though. This demigod managed to kill Kronos, the king of titans, lord of time.
Gaia was having a very hard time keeping up with Percy, she had already been wounded quite severely in several places. She knew that she was going to die and that thought was terrifying. In a last ditch attempt she shouted out "Primal" no-one came. She was alone.
As I drove my sword into Gaia's chest, killing her, her essence did something weird. Instead of dispersing it split, then half went to me and half to the sky. I didn't have much time to contemplate that though, as I collapsed one thought ran through my mind. What was Primal?
