As the pups Violet,Slater,Strider,and Clace grew they were becoming more and more dominant.Moon and Vorpal liked this to be seen in their pups.Paws was happy to see her grand pups.Paws had a brother name Shear and he had a mate named Clarice.they had two pups,Silverr,and Gold.These brothers caused nothing but trouble.
Violet started out trying to hunt,Strider worked on running formation,Slater worked on Herbs,and Clace was trying to fit in with other wolves. Clace was having trouble fitting in, the other wolves were different then him. They were always playing with one another, but Clace was always left out.
Violet was doing great in her hunting, she went out on her first small hunt test, she slowly walked toward her target, back down ready to pounce and catch, THERE she went and caught a rabbit by the foot and brought it to her mentor Dark shade who was the best hunter in the pack, Vorpal was always watching her pups too see if they were learning correctly but of course they never knew that Moon was off with the rest of the pack tracking down some caribou for the packs feast.
As the deputy Dark Stripe, and his son Foalan were checking the boundaries of the Sawtooth Packs Territory they smelled other wolves and not of their pack. They tracked down the scent to Darkmac Territory, they ran to tell Vorpal and Moon, but only Vorpal was there so they told her and she howled for her pack to come to the Great Rock. Vorpal and Moon stood upon the Great Rock. Vorpal spoke, "We have been threatened for the Darkmac Pack has come into our territory breaking pack law they will be punished, it is almost time for the Great Gathering where all of us meet I have chose three pups or Apprentices to come with me, these pups are Violet, Foalan, Silverr. They have shown the best at their chosen mark hunting, chasing, herbs, formation. These pups have earned the great share of coming to the Great Gathering."
As Moon and Vorpal jump down from the Great Rock they are confronted by Violet, Foalan, and Silverr. Violet is first to speak, "Mom you chose me? But why, I think Clace should go he is always left out he is our little bro, but I am so excited to go to the gathering with you!" Vorpal howls in appreciation for her daughter. Silverr submits and lets out a high pitched squeak "IM SO EXCITED!!!" Vorpal just howls in thanks. Foalan is silent but shares tongues with Vorpal, Moon suddenly gets jealous. Moon growls at Foalan then Vorpal snarls at Moon. Moon whimpers down he knows she is the alpha. Foalan and Vorpal spend quite a bit of time together more often Moon eventually puts up with it he doesn't think anyone would try to have Vorpal for a mate.
But no one knows that Foalan has a crush on Vorpal's daughter Violet. When Violet, Foalan, and Silverr go to the Great Gathering Vorpal goes to Whisper the leader of Darkmac she was quite surprised it was one of her wolves that was trespassing it turned out to be her nephews Tony and Winston. They were punished by Whisper. "HOW DARE YOU TRESPASS INTO THEIR TERRITORY!?" Whisper snarled with anger. " We were only t-trying t-to bring p-peace." Winston whimpered in fear, for he know what would happen if he got on his aunt's bad side.......banishment. " You are to listen to your mother Russet, and you will or suffer.....banishment!" " You are to leave the pack and never.....return." Winston and Tony left the pack and they were never seen again..... Foalan finally went to Vorpal and asked if they could spend some training together. " Hey Vorpal!" Foalan barked. "What is it Foalan?" She replied. " Umm....I was just wandering if you wanted to train a bit with me or hunt or something...." " Sure, when?"
