The Master of Stone

Prologue "Happenings in the past"

Before we begin with the story about two special children, Solar and Luna, brother and sister, there's something you need to know. Something from the past in this very mysterious land called Météoh. In the world of Alensio.

A very long time and many generations ago, Météoh was a lot different from the world you're going to read about in the next few chapters.

Once upon a time, Météoh was a powerful land with beautiful creatures in it. It was filled with nature and elementary magic. Which could be found everywhere in the world, in every kind of element you could think of. The land was known by it's peace and respect between the folks and the collaboration between their elements.

But after a long time of peace and happiness, something new happened. It was an act of curiosity, which was new for the people of Météoh. One stone was formed by a shadow called Umbra in the fire of the volcano Mulgrot and it contained the Shadowmagic. It was the first, and only materialistic object that contained a form of powerful magic. It was given to one man, whom she had believed he could have used the magic to help people. But instead, he used it to scare them and show them how powerful he was. Umbra saw it happen and knew she had made a mistake with this man. And because of her mistake, the oldest shadows of her folk, The Veteris, punished her. She was banned from her home in the shadow of Mulgrot and had to live like a human and her task was to stop the man with the Stone of Shadows. The man she had secretly been falling for in the first place. He had abused her love so much that it turned into hate. She could keep her Shadowmagic, and could only return to her home and return to being a Shadow again when she completed her mission.

But over the years, the man found ways to make his magic stronger and darker. The stone had been forged into a materialistic mother of stone. The man used magic of other people to feed this mother. And with the blood of these innocent children, an army of awful creatures arose: The Virus.

After years of searching for a way to stop him, Umbra got lost in time and wandered over land. Someone with Shadowmagic lives forever, until a weapon made of Shadowstone goes through her heart. And after those years, more and more objects got made of Shadowstone. Like it wasn't rare or special anymore. People traded in Shadowstone, the stone from Mulgrot.

But the only stone with Shadowmagic in it, was the stone that the mysterious, unreachable man still had.

Centuries went by.
Tucked away was the quest.
