Queen For The Queen

Chapter 2

  I walked toward the entrance of Queen Charlotte's castle. The inside of the castle seems like a huge mess. Not a  type of place you wanna live here.

There were tons of broken wood on the floor piled up all in one huge stack.

This must be the aftermath of the war three months ago. "Why hello there, Audrey." The bitterness of the voice said in the corner of my eyes.

  "Charlotte." I said glaring at her. "I would like to ask you for a request." "What is it?" Queen Charlotte said looking at her long gold painted nails.

"I want to work here." I said holding the poster up to show her. "Oh honey, I can't hire you. You are the highest rank trained assassin." Queen Charlotte said.

  "I just need money, no funny business." I glared. She paused and thought for a minute. "Come here." She said.

I walked slowly towards her not sure what she's gonna do. "This will happen to you every time you disobey me." She dig her nails in my neck which causes me to wince.

"Yes your majesty." I rasp. "Good you start now." She said motioning me to come towards her.

We walked down the long hallway until we came upon a rusty door on the left of the hallway. "This will be your room." She said with a wicked smile.

I opened the rusty door and looked at the room. There were cobwebs everywhere. Dust were floated in the air which causes me to cough.

Until there was a small and rusty bed on the left corner of the room with one pillow and a thin blanket.

Good job Audrey, do you always have to listen to Noah? You don't even belong here Audrey. Just change your mind. My inner thoughts said.

"Now, if I ring the bell that means you have to give me breakfast,lunch,or dinner depending on the time. Also your job today is to clean all fifty rooms in this castle including the cellar." Queen Charlotte said before she left.

  I walked towards the the right corner that wasn't that dusty and "sobbed my way through"

"Stop being so weak. Why the hell do you even agree this for? Huh there's no way he loves you. And you just want money even tho you got good weapons."

I ignored my inner thoughts. I needed this. I need to show my inner true love to him.

  I got up dusting dust off my bum. I Walked towards the small cabinet with the duster and sweeper.

You gotta get sweeping.

  I sighed and looped down my bed and checked my watch. It's been three hours. I lied on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Until the bell rang.

I got up and ran towards the noise until I met Queen Charlotte at her throne with the bell at her fingertips.

"Finally took you long enough. You need to change your clothes. There is no way in hell you are wearing your assassin suit when you are serving me." She said eyeing me up and down.

"Well then, where are they?" I shrugged. "Here" she said and tossed me a ragged dress which is dusty and definitely not everyone's type.

  I took the dress and walked to the bathroom which is across from her throne and quickly got dressed.

I looked at myself on the mirror. I'm the skinny girl that has barely any fat on the thighs. I looked at my flat stomach and sighed.

I took the ragged dress and put it on myself. I look filthy. I look like a freaking hobo. You aren't a assassin anymore.

  I walked out of the bathroom and caught Queen Charlotte looking at me with a bored expression. She got up from her throne and grabbed my assassin suit.

"WHAT THE---" I couldn't finish my sentence as I watched Charlotte toss the suit to the fireplace. Which causes it to burn to shreds.

The only suit that I have. "Now you won't need that suit now." She said clapping her hands together. "Your dismissed."

She shooed me off like I'm a animal. I walked towards my room thinking of a plan to kill her.

Oh boy.
