"Why you're knocking at the door?
"I'm sorry nakalimutan ko kasi yung susi nagmamadali kasi ako kanina." Paliwanag nito.
"Yes, you are! Mga babae nga naman." Matalim ang tingin nito kay Jolina.
"What?! Watch your mouth nga!"
"What's wrong with you?!"
"Because you're starting to burden me. Dati kapag nasa loob na 'ko ng bahay I'm not obligated for anything or anyone at all. Or stand up anymore to open the door for someone stupid who left her own key." He said stoically with his eyes affixed on the TV screen.
"Wow!" She muttered.
"Ang lalim ng reason mo!" She said with sarcasm.
"Ang sabihin mo tamad ka lang talaga!" She concluded.
"O bakit? Pakiesplika nga! How many times did I left my key para maburden ka kaagad sa pagbubukas ng pinto? As if I've done it hundred times. She said sarcastically.
"Now you're a burden to me! You're one hell of a mouth!" And he started mouthing with his lips and hand that seemed to be talking.
"Blah! Blah! Blah!" He added.
But Jolina just laugh at it.
"Nakakatawa ka. E mukhang sarili mo mismo ang tinutukoy mo e!" She forced a smile whilst putting her right hand on her waist.
"You're the first one to nag. Remember? Monkey with a big mouth!" She said sneering then she rolled her eyes before turning her back at him.
"Haaay! She murmured as she headed to her room.
CARL'S POV
I got really upset when I had to open the door for her.
I intentionally watched outside because I planned to annoy her, 'sana!' but it turned out otherwise.
Dati when I'm at home I can already be comfy lounging around my house whether I'd be home and sleep early or sleep late, wala na akong ibang iintindihin pa. But now, there she is.
I never thought someone could be so disturbing of my space and my time. I don't just have a wife in my house I even have an intruder and an instant..
"I dont know," I sighed.
"Enemy? Rival? Whatever!" I shrugged my shoulder turned off the bedside light then fixed myself flat on my bed.
It was already late when I woke up.
I got up and sit on the edge of my bed.
I heard some noise like movements coming from the kitchen although it was not loud enough for me to identify what the sound is.
I found Jo setting the table. Yes I called her Jo and not Leng or Jolina because those names are used by people who like and love her. While I have the opposite emotion towards her.
"Well, what you know! Having her in my house is not really a bad idea after all!
I was about to approach the table when she suddenly sit in front where the plate is set.
At kahit nakita na niya ko. Hindi na ito tumayo to get another plate for me. Pang-isang tao lang talaga ang inihanda nito.
Tss!
"Ikaw lang ba ang tao dito, that you only prepared one plate?" I asked.
She turned to face me and slightly smirked.
Kita mo?" She taunted.
"Well, that's your duty as a wife." Stoically I sat on a vacant seat across her.
"You mean fake wife! Is that how lazy you are?" She scoffed raising her left brow at me.
"Beside may agreement tayo walang pa-ki-a-la-ma-nan! It was still bright and clear to me as the daylight." She emphasized as she started to scooped the food and place them on her plate.
Wow! Sinuswerte ka! Kung gusto mo, ask your mom to make manang Ana stay here with us para may magluluto at maghahanda palagi ng lahat ng mga pangangailangan mo. Kasi ako," she paused pointing on her chest.
"I promise you, it's not all the time that I will be cooking for the both of us. Promise minsan lang 'to."
