That would be just my luck
I wonder what she was thinking about
Maybe she didn't even recognize me
Should I try to explain why I was going on a date ?
This is ridiculous we barely messaged I shouldn't be worrying when I wasn't even sure she recognized me.
All of this was going through my mind as I tried to listen to the small talk that began to go on around me.
"So ladies , if you don't mind , shall we get this show on the road?" Ethan was saying as he held his hand out for his date.
"Wouldn't want to miss our dinner reservations now would we?" I asked jokingly. Apparently it wasn't that funny since Ethan made it a point to give a look of disapproval.
"That's a nice car. Who's is it ?" I think it was Bethany who had asked the question.
"That beauty there is mine " I stated proudly.
I don't mean to brag but I had a thing for showing off my car .
We all piled into my car after that. Finally we were able to head out to the restaurant. Luckily the restaurant was pretty close by. In my opinion going to The Cheesecake factor for a first date was over kill.
If it were up to me we would be doing something more hands on like bowling. Starting off a first date with dinner could easily turn into something more awkward than romantic.
