Hi, my name is Lara. I'm in 12th grade.
I go to school at Westside High...unfortunately.I'm not much of a "girl" as some people say. I wear some old pair of black skinny jeans, and a t-shirt on a daily bases. I'm obsessed with anything and everything that has to do with music. I dont really have any friends, I have acquaintances but nothing real. My life is normal I guess. My daily routine is something along the lines of getting up for school, going to school, facing the crappy people, going home and study then repeat. It's been like that for a while, it's much harder when it's only you though. But today is the start of a new year.
I was walking to class from being dropped off by my mom. I got to my first class, which was english according to my new schedule for the year. As I walked into the classroom I saw a girl, she had short brown hair, bright blue eyes, and was just gorgeous. Her name was Valorie, what a beautiful name to fit just a beautiful girl.
There was an empty seat beside me, the teacher put her there. I glanced at her to try to see what she looks like without being creepy. Her eyes are even more blue up close, like the ocean, or a bright sunny day with the big blue sky. Then she looks at me, and gives me the warmest smile that made my heart melt.
Why does this happen? Why is that someone comes into my life that I don't even know? and I just let them take my heart away and torture it. Why is it always me, out of a billion people?! It's always me.
It's time for 2nd period, as I walk out of class going to math I get a tap. "Can you help me find my next class?" I turn around and it's Valorie. I accidentally drop all of my books and turn red instantly. I look at her for a moment and think; her voice is so calm, I get lost in thought I respond. "Sure, can I see your schedule?" She hands me her schedule, my hand brushes against hers accidentally as she's handing me the paper. Her skin was soft, like newborn babies skin."You have math with me, just follow." I say getting kinda happy, we go to math class awkwardly bumping hands, while walking down the hall. Once we enter, we all have seating charts. Of course I'm by all the popular people who will end up bullying me and she's at a table of boys. I sit down at me seat and put my bag down. I look around the room and I see her, she's already getting along with them so well. Even though I just met her I feel like I'm loosing her.
After 5th period, the bell for lunch rings. Instead of sitting in the cafeteria alone, staring at a wall I got to the library to bury my head in some book. When I walk in I see Valerie reading, my plans change fast. I walk over there and ask, "Is this seat taken?" She looks up, "Oh no, you can sit here!" She says, while giving me a very pretty smile that makes me blush. I sit down while looking at what she's reading. "Are you interested in my book?" She says with a curious look on her face. "Oh um, yeah." I say, hoping she doesn't think I'm being nosey. "Well, it's about theses two female warriors who fight off who vikings who are trying to assassinate off all wome-". The bell rings, not letting her finish. "Aw man. Let me see your hand." She says. "Ok." I said curiously, letting her grab my hand. She pulls a pen out of her jacket pocket, writing numbers down on my palm. "Heres my number, call me sometime." She says while walking off, she turns around and waves. I can't believe I got her number. "Damn" I say while looking at her ass.
