Now that i have told you about myself its time to tell you about how my life disappeared..
Isabellas POV -
I cant believe im gonna be 16 today!! I can finally drive! My aunt told me she will buy me a car when im 16.
- Izzy! Grace yells. I look up from the book i was pretending to be reading.
- Oh, hey! I say. i hadnt noticed her sitting down next to me. She laughed and stood up.
- I asked you a question, silly. She said kind of annoyed. - I asked if you wanna hang with me at the Ocean Cafe today.
- But its my birthday.. I mumbled.
- You need to stop mumbling, Isabella. She said and rolled her eyes.
- Uhm, i said sure. I lied.
-Great! See you at midnight! She smiled and walked away.
At midnight!!?? I will never make it! My aunt doesn't let me go to the pier.. And certainly not at midnight. Whatever i'll fool her.
At midnight
I walk to a small table in the corner of the cafe. The cafe is outside, so its a bit chilly. I only put on a hoodie and shorts. I look up to the sky and see the moon. Its so round and bright. I close my eyes and suddenly im not there anymore. Im not sitting by myself at the cafe. I don't know what happened or how long i sat there.
- Hello?? A voice said. I opened my eyes. It was Grace.
- Im sorry im late.. She apologized.
- Late? Nooo, i've only sat here for five minutes. I said confused.
- Ughh, i think you had a little too much coffee to drink, but im like an hour late. She said nervously.
WHATTT!!!?? An hour? I sat there for an entire hour?! And nobody checked if i was okay? Whatever..
- Okay, so what do you wanna order? I asked. She laughed and pointed to the cafe door.
- What, its not open?? But why are we here? I asked annoyed.
- We're going swimming. She said and ran towards the beach. I followed her. When i reached the water, she was already running around in the waves.
- Im not gonna do this! I yelled. She swam closer and looked disappointed.
- But it'll be fun! She said.
- Im just gonna watch from that rock over there. I said and pointed to the giant rock thats in the water.
It's very hard to get on the rock because its a gap between the sand and the rock. I climbed up on it and sat down. For some reason i decided that standing was a better idea. Bad idea. I slipped and fell on my back. It was so slippery that i fell into the ocean. it was dark and alot of waves, so i just paddled around trying to see where land was. I somehow couldn't see the difference between water and air, so i just gave up. I closed my eyes and wished the waves would take me back to land. They did. But not the land i was hoping for..
