Chapter 2: Making New Friends

I was awoken by the sunlight shining through the window. I sat up and rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes. As I was just getting out of bed, a knocking came at my door. I assumed it was either Celestia or Luna and allowed permission to enter. I was wrong; instead walked in a purple alicorn.

Twilight- "Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle. What's yours?"

Me- "Umm Black Blood Rose."

Twilight- "What an intriguing name. Sorry to disturb but I thought I should introduce myself."

Me- "Oh...um...ok..."

I was so confused at the sudden happiness she expressed. She giggled at my response.

Me- "What's so funny?"

Twilight- "Oh it's just that you kind of sounded like one of my friends. She is very shy and she usually response like that."

Me- "oh..."

Twilight- "Yeah...oh speaking of which! The main reason came to talk to you was to ask if you would like to join me on my quick visit to Ponyville. What do you say?"

Me- "Sure...I...I guess."

Twilight- "Great! Let me just inform Celestia that you will be joining me and my friend Spike."

She left me to get ready. She seemed nice but it kind of confused me to see her skipping when she left.

After I had gotten ready, I waited outside by a chariot for twilight and this Spike pony. Who was he anyway?

Spike- "Hey, are you joining me and Twilight?"

Me- "I guess, who are you?"

Spike- "Oh sorry, I'm Spike what's your name kid?"

Me- "Black Blood Rose..."

Spike- "That's a creepy name...I like it!"

Was this dragon serious? Did he actually like my name? Well he was a boy, and from experience a lot of boys think creepy and gross things are cool so didn't bother questioning it. Spike and I continued chatting about each other's lives while waiting for Twilight. I had never talked to anyone that much and he seemed to understand or even sympathize the life I had to live.

 Spike- "Man, that's rough."

Me- "Tell me about it."

Spike then told me his life from the time Twilight hatched him from his egg to now assisting her with any check list or letter. Dragons were usually ferocious and terrifying beast of the magical realm, but here I was speaking to a teen dragon that has been raised by ponies. I couldn't resist but laugh when he told me he enjoyed baking. Twilight finally came and we were off to the quaint little town, Ponyville. It was such a happy looking place. Grown ponies chatted away while little fillies and colts ran around squealing and having the best time. It made me smile to see such happiness going around.

Twilight- "Well, let's go"

I got off allowing Twilight and Spike to step off. I took a good look around and quickly ran behind Twi, I didn't realize how crowded it was and with my personality and how my life used to be, it scared me. Just as we proceeded to walk, we were suddenly stopped by a preppy bouncing pink pony that held a smile reaching ear to ear. It kind of scared me.

Pinkie- "Hi Twilight!"

Twilight- "Hello Pinkie Pie, what are you up to?"

Pinkie- "Oh the usual, hey! Who is this little filly hiding?"

Twilight- "This is princess black blood rose. She is Luna's student."

Pinkie- "Aw she is so cute!"
