"You have to rest more. I know you want to stay up and work on the lyrics, but you'll get sick if you stay up to much." I told him bluntly. I knew it was probably the last thing he wanted to hear, but it needed to be said.

"Ice, my health is perfectly fine. I take good care of myself." Kyo responded, sitting in a chair in the living room of Ray's house. He was always like this. I knew how much he cared for his music, but I hate when he gets stubborn.

"Tell that to the bags under your eyes..." I mumbled, crossing my arms. "You agree with me, right Ray?" I shot a glance at Ray, who was laying on the couch and couldn't care less about our argument. Well, if an argument was me getting more and more angry at the stone faced wall of impassiveness that was Kyo Takara, and said wall being unfazed by my complaints as he stared down at his book.

"He does this all the time. As soon as the concert in two days passes he'll be back to his normal schedule." Ray tried to reassure me. But, it wasn't working. "But what if he gets sick? Then he won't be able to perform!" I heard a soft sigh and my gaze was drawn back to the black haired male. "Ice... Listen. You're stressing me out more than my sleep schedule is, so..." He said, trying not to directly say that he wanted me to drop the issue.

This only made me more upset, it made me hit my limit. "Ugh, fine! If you want to be like that, then I think it would be better if you didn't get to perform at all!" I yelled, grabbed my bag, and stormed out of the house. I walked onto the sidewalk and noticed that it was raining. "Oh great..." I went to the train station as quickly as possible and was just able to make it onto my train. While sitting on the train is when I realized what I had said. To Kyo, his music was everything to him, and telling him I didn't want him to perform was the same as me mortally injuring him.

I buried my face in my hands, then rubbed my arms in regret. "I went too far..." I deeply cared for him and didn't want him to overwork himself, but getting angry at him and yelling wasn't helping anyone. I got off at my stop and walked to my apartment, collapsing onto the bed and turning out the light. "I'll go to his workplace and apologize tomorrow..." I thought aloud before I fell asleep.

I woke up the next day and headed immediately for his work, but oddly didn't find him there. "I guess next is Shin's fish shop..." This seemed like a go place to go for answers, Shin was his band mate and if anyone knew where he was, it would be Shin. I arrived and bolted right to Shin, probably scaring him half to death. "Have you seen Kyo?!" I asked, in a hurry. Before he could answer, I saw Ray and Makoto walk in and I asked them the same question. They all seemed a bit nervous and uncomfortable. "What's wrong...?" I asked, trying not to show how worried I was. Makoto sighed and whispered in my ear, probably trying to help me not freak out.

However... "Kyo is sick?!" I blurted out loudly and they nodded. "He's been told he has strep throat... I don't think he'll be well enough for our performance tomorrow..." Shin explained as I shakily sat on a bench. "How did...? W-Why...? Why did I say those things.. and now he's not going to be able to sing..." Ray placed a hand on my shoulder. "If it makes you feel any better, it wasn't from the late nights. After you left, he went to go after you. He only made it to the train station, then gave up."

If anything, that made me feel worse. "I had an emotional episode, stormed out, and because of that Kyo followed me into the rain and got sick..." I quickly stood up and began to leave. "Where are you going, Ice?" Matoko asked. "I'm going to visit Kyo... I still have to apologize..." I left and took the shortest route to his home. Not wanting to make him get up and answer the door, I used the key he'd given me for emergencies only. I quietly walked into the dark house and closed the door behind me. I walked up the stairs to his room and slowly opened the door, only to see him asleep in his bed. There was a few bottles of medicine next to his bed and some food he had been eating before falling asleep.

I felt a smile come to my face as I began to pick up and throw away the trash in his room. "For someone so quiet and polite, you wouldn't think he'd be this messy." I giggled softly to myself and sat next to his bed, organizing his medicines and pills. It was then that I noticed a candy wrapper on the other side of his bed. Determined not to leave even one piece of trash out, I slowly reached over and attempted to grab it. However I felt something wrap around my back and the next thing I knew, my head was against Kyo's chest. I attempted to get up before noticing that, in his sleep, he had managed to wrap his arm around me and hold me against him. I stopped moving, not wanting to wake him, and slowly closed my eyes as I rested against his warm chest.

When I next woke up, it was to the sound of a familiar voice calling my name. "Ice?" My eyes shot open and I blushed deeply as I pulled away from Kyo. "I-I'm sorry!" He looked at me, still confused, but shrugged it off. "What are you doing here...?" He asked quietly. "O-Oh... I wanted to apologize for what I said yesterday... and now your sick because you tried to stop me. And you won't be able to perform. And-" I was silenced by his hand over my mouth. "You're rambling." He stated bluntly and I nodded. "I'm sorry, Kyo..."

He rested his hand on top of my head and ran his fingers through my long, white, hair. "It's okay. I should have listened to you." I quickly shook my head. "No! If I hadn't gotten so angry and stormed out, you wouldn't be sick..." I looked at my lap in guilt, not wanting to face him. "It's okay, Ice." He said softly and pulled me into a hug. I blushed lightly and smiled. "Kyo, can I stay and try to help you get better...?" He pulled away and nodded. "Sure. I know what my help." I tilted my head and looked around. "What?" My eyes widened as he leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. It was my first kiss, so I didn't know how to react. But, I lean forward and wrapped my arms around his shoulders and kissed him back. I had never considered my feelings for Kyo before now, and even now I don't know how I feel. But I do know that I'll happily be his nurse whenever he wants me to be.

Extra:

The next day I looked awful and sick. "Ice, what happened?!" Ray asked me as he had to feed me medicine. "I-I um..." "She helped me get better and I ended up making her sick instead." Kyo replied as he leaned against the door frame of my room. "Y-Yeah..." I blushed and nodded. "Hey Ice, what's this weird bruise on your neck?" Shin teased me, clearly not believing my story. "That's medicine Ray spilled on me!" I frowned and wiped the "bruise" off to show him I wasn't lying.
