"Here at the MTAI, we try to make the future better through means of combining the brilliance of the mind with the strength of machines." I had heard this speech several times today from Mr. Pond, but that didn't stop the manager from going on. He introduced himself as Phillip, but never gave me his last name or bothered to ask for mine. "...and that's why the MTAI was founded." Phillip eventually concluded. "Any questions?" I glanced back over to the papers on his desk and he noticed since he said, "That's an experiment to see if there are better ways to link the mind and machine. You have seen the mind and machine together as one in the main testing room according to security. That power suit uses a gas to make the mind give off more energy, therefore making the machine able to detect the thoughts." I stood there staring at him, trying to pay attention but not understanding how the papers on his desk and this related. I looked over to Mr. Pond, who had apparently left. Phillip cleared his throat to regain my attention and stated, "The 'Vaccine Experiment' was designed to use a liquid mixture to energize the brain that would stay in the body, which proved to be more effective." I hesitantly asked, " What did you test the vaccines on? Your files were received this afternoon, it says so on the top," Phillip looked me in the eye and said, "That's confidential." He got up from his desk and walked toward the door and remarked on his way out, "You better leave in about ten minutes, it's getting late." I checked my watch. Seven- forty three. Time had sure flown by. I wanted to leave, but I knew I just had to look at the files on his desk. I picked up the top paper and read the testing site. I had known this address all too well. I looked toward the door and saw box by the door. As I walked toward it, I saw a needle. Vaccines. The same ones from school.
