Percy's POV
"How's this Wise Girl?" I laughed while she stood shell-shocked at the massive dinner I had made(Mom helped a bit. Okay, fine, she helped a lot).
"It-it-it's amazing! Wait.... Sally helped out didn't she?" Annabeth smirked.
"Errmmm-"
"Ha! She did, huh?" she said with a smug smile.
"Maybe......? Hey! I did make some of those" I shot back.
"Whatever Seaweed Brain!" she laughed.
We sat down our faces both red. Mine with embarrassment, hers with laughter. We started eating the delicious food(that I had made) and neither of us spoke for a while.
It was perfect. Just Annabeth and me, having a nice dinner together. I wanted to speak, but I had nothing to say.
