Ch 4 | Nothing you can do

Lily POV

We walked down the pavement in silence for about 5 minutes until he broke it. "Why did you move here?" He glanced up from the ground. "Mum and dad got divorced. I left my mum and brother back in Ireland.." I stayed looking down. "Oh. I'm sorry" he said sympathetic. "It's ok, I've got used to living without them" I smiled. He slowly but smoothy slipped his hand into mine as we walked. He intertwined our fingers then smiled. I returned a smile and we kept walking.

The park. The park was always my favourite place to go when I had friends back at home.

"SEE SAW" Max yelled in a childish voice as he ran over to the seesaw dragging me along behind him. He jumped on and begged me to get on the other side. I gave in and hopped on. We were on it for 30 seconds at the most until something caught my eye and I ran off towards the really really tall slide. I skipped up the steps doing 2 at a time. I got the top , sat myself down and looked at the long fall beneath me. Max was stood at the bottom. "I'm gonna catch youuuu and there's nothing you can do about it" he laughed. I giggled and pushed myself off. I was stopped by him pushing me against it gently. He slowly leaned in and I tried to look everywhere but at him. I've never been in this kind of situation before I don't know what I'm doing. Our lips crashed together. It was gentle but felt meaningful.. I put one hand on the side of his face , carefully pushed him away and smiled. He smiled back and helped me to my feet. "Let's go home" we walked out of the park hand in hand.

Was that a mistake or was it destiny waiting to happen??

Max POV

Wow. Wow. And wow again. How. I mean what like. WHAT JUST HAPPENED. I walked lily home , she gave me a smile before she went in the door. Damn shes so beautiful

I walked down the pavement and up our driveway. I heard shouting. Great, Leo and Tilly are fighting again. I walked in and slammed the door. "Tilly go to the playroom , Leo go to the sitting room!!" I jogged upstairs and into mine and Harvey's room and flopped onto my bed smiling. He was sitting on his thinking.

Harvey POV

Max walked into the room invading my thought process. "Where have you been" I looked up. "At the park with a friend" he jumped onto his bed. He seems to be in a good mood. That never happens. "Max if I tell you something will you give me your honest opinion on it?" I asked. "Sure, hit me with it" he turned his head to look at my side of the room.

Cliffhanger? Not really cus you probably already know what's coming😂 but hey I watched MOANA today and it's honestly so freaking good
