"Lionpaw, Firepaw, Dimlight, Robinwhisker." Adderstar began, his yellow eyes blazing. Tawnystar, Graystar, and Brightstar were behind him, muttering amongst themselves. Lionpaw looked to her leader, her eyes filled with fear. Firepaw of ShadowClan pressed against her side in comfort.
"You four are to be banished form the clans. StarClan has spoken to our medicine cats." The ThunderClan leader growled.
"But," Brightstar grumbled. "Firepaw, I have decided to give you your warrior name. From now on you shall be know as Firestorm."
"Lionpaw, you shall be known as Lionshade." Lionshade looked didn't meet Adderstar's gaze as her unofficial warrior name was given. She didn't want to be Lionshade. She wanted to be Lionpaw. If she was leaving anyways, Lionshade didn't want the burden of her banishment to be her name. She turned to the others.
Firestorm of ShadowClan.
Robinwhisker of WindClan.
Dimlight of RiverClan.
And of course, Lionshade of ThunderClan.
The medicine cat's had received an omen. The light will dim, the lion and fire will blaze through the forest, and the robin will cry like a hawk. Lionshade trembled at the thought of the omen. It would be the reason she never saw her clan again.
"No..." Lionshade mumbled.
"What?" Adderstar asked coldly.
"I said no! I will not accept my name! I am no longer ThunderClan!" The clearing stared at her in shock. Firestorm soon said the same.
"Your choice..." Brightstar snarled. Her normally calm amber eyes blazing. Lionpaw noticed Graystar looked more fearful than angry, so did Tawnystar. When their eyes met the her and the other cats they quickly looked away.
"You four shall leave. You are all expected to be off of clan territory by sun-fall tomorrow." Adderstar informed them coldly. "But I suggest you go now before I make it sooner."
"Graystar...please..." Dimlight pleaded, his voice was choked. "I can't leave my family..."
"I'm sorry Dimlight..." The fluffy she-cat meowed, her voice was trembling. "But StarClan has said so and it must be true,
You four are to be banished."
And that was just how it happened.
