Kacine's pov

First of all, I'm scared for two reasons. One, there are guns I could possibly kill myself with. Two, the sign said Gavin's Shooting Range! Which means her parents own the range. Which also means that they're probably here 24/7. It was indeed to early to meet parents right now. I mean, of course she has met mine. It's just for some odd reason, I was scared. More scared of her parents, then the weapons that were held in this facility.

As we walked over to the glass counter that held about a thousand types of guns, I could see a man in a dress shirt with a red tie and black dress pants. He then notice me staring at him, so I quickly turned my head trying not to make eye contact. I had a feeling that, that was Taylor's father. He approached the counter with a smile. "Hello, there. May I help you miss?" He asked.

I looked Taylor's way. She wasn't standing by me!! I looked back at the man. I gave him a nervous smile. "I...um...I actually came here with Taylor?" I told him, unsure of what to say.

He looked at me confused. "Taylor? I don't believe I know a Taylor? " He questioned, unsure of himself.

Before I could answer, Taylor came from the room behind the glass counter. I sighed in relief. "Hey, Colby. Do me a favor and refill the cooler with ice and put some water bottles in it." She demanded.

"Sure thing, Ms. Gavin." With that, he left and did what was told. Few, that wasn't her father, I thought.

I raised an eyebrow at Taylor. She looked at me, blankly. "What?" She finally asked.

"Ms. Gavin?" I questioned, still eyebrow raised.

She laughed lighty. "In case you didn't notice half of the dozen of picket signs, said 'Gavin' on it.

I sighed. "Well, I know that." I stated blankly. "So, sense it is your parents range, where are they?" I asked curiously.

"My dad's range. My mom's a pharmacist. He use to be in the military. So, he indeed took a huge interest in guns and killing shit." She said as she walked towards me.

"Now, Nina. What have I told you about that potty mouth of yours?" A manly voice asked.

I jumped in shock. The man came from behind us and went behind the counter in front of us. I looked at Taylor. She rolled her eyes. "Dad. how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" She asked annoyed.

The man, I'm guessing is her father, raised an eyebrow. "Well, it is your birth name, Nina." He said, knowing that had bugged his daughter. I then realized that he was calling Taylor 'Nina'. Taylor's real name is Nina?! Wow, know wonder why she used the name Taylor.

Taylor started to glare daggers into her father's head. She took a deep breath. "Whatever." She said, turning my way. "Kacine, this is my father, Wayne Gavin. Father, this is the girl I told you that I was bringing here on a date, Kacine." She concluded.

He looked at me and smiled. "Wow, Nina. You sure do know how to pick 'em." He said amazed. I could feel my cheeks turning red. "As beautiful as you are, I would of never thought that you'd be with Nina." He stated in disbelief.

"Taylor! The name I go by is Taylor, dammit!" Before her father could say something she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room and into another.

We entered a dark box room. Taylor walked over to the other side and grabbed two vests. The vests looked like they had toy guns attached to them. She then went over to a cabinet and took out two pairs of gloves and goggles. She walked over to me holding out each item towards me. "Here, put these on." She told me.
