Ch.9

Ashton's POV

I am still shocked at what she just said. Luke is her brother.. TWINS?!

"D-do you want to meet him?" I asked stuttering a little.

"Please? I want to know my real family," she said with teary eyes.

I nodded. I would want to know who my family is too if I was her.

"I'll call him, he is usually never busy, go get dressed!" I said grabbing my phone.

She ran upstairs clumsily. I dialed Luke's number.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey, I figured out you have a twin sister, and she wants to see you," I said. I hated that I brought it up that fast.

"Y-you know her? She's ok?! She is around here?! Let me talk to her!!" He said bombarding me.

"Ok hold on!" I set the phone down for a second.

"ASHLYNN!! HE WANTS TO TALK TO YOU! IM ON THE PHONE WITH HIM!" I yelled.

"I'm coming down now!" I heard a faint reply. I put the phone back up to my ear.

"Here she is" I said giving the phone to Ashlynn,"

Ashlynn's POV

He handed the phone to me. This is it. I finally get to speak to him.

"H-h-hello?" I stuttered.

"A-Ashlynn?" I heard his voice crack.

"Oh my gosh. Is this happening?" I said with tears spilling out of my eyes.

"Yes it is, oh my gosh, what happened?" He asked. I can tell he's crying too.

"When mom and dad got a divorce, dad grabbed me and mom grabbed you. I was with dad for two years, then he couldn't afford to take care of me, so I was put into a foster home. They treat me like shit.." I said full out bawling. Ashton rubbed my back for comfort.

"I'm so sorry, Ash! I'm with our mum, do you want to talk to her?" He asked. I heard a few sniffles.

"No, we are going to surprise her. Ashton is taking me. Don't tell her!" I dried up my tears.

"Ok, see you then, I love you, sis," he said still sniffling.

"Bye, love you too," I choked.

I turned to Ashton. I gave him a huge hug. I let go and gave him a huge smile.

"Let's go," I say grabbing my purse and phone.

He nodded and grabbed his keys and phone.

The car ride was silent. I had so many thoughts running through my mind. I can't believe I get to see my mum and brother again. My real ones!

"We're here!" Ashton said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Thanks, for everything. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't get to see my mum.. Or brother.. I can't thank you enough," I said in tears.

He wiped my tears and gave me a hug. It was nice and comforting. He rubbed small circles in my back.

"You don't need to thank me. You deserve it," he whispered in my ear. I nodded.

We pulled apart. He grabbed my hand and we went toward the door. My heart was at 100 miles. I had so many thoughts going through my mind.

"Don't be nervous. They aren't your fake family. They'll love you regardless," he reassured me.

I slowly knocked on the door. Here it is, I get to see my real family. I can't believe this is happening.. All because of the boy who used to hate me. I heard the door slowly open.

"H-hi.. Is this.. Ashlynn?" He stuttered.

It was a tall boy with blonde hair, blue eyes. He looks a lot like me. It's Luke. Tears started coming down my face and I clung on to him, hugging him for the longest time ever. We finally let go after a while.

"Come in, please, we need to surprise mum!" He said excitedly motioning me and Ashton in.

His house looked very comfy and nice. More of a home than mine, most certainly. We walked through a hallway and he opened a door.

"Stay right here until I say come in," he winked. I nodded holding on to Ashton's hand.

"Hey mum, I'd like you to meet someone. You'll love her," I heard him say, then grabbed my hand and pulled my into the room.

"Mom. Ashton found Ashlynn, she's ok!" he said shakily.

She looked at me in shock, then slowly got up. I see who me and Luke favour. She came closer to me and gave me a long hug. I cried into her chest. I can't believe I'm seeing her. She let go of my for a second and hugged me again. Then let go.

"Ashlynn, I'm so glad to see your gorgeous face again. Come babe, let me make some dinner, come in the living area. Luke will put on a movie.

She guided me back to the living room with the two boys behind us talking. I am so glad I get to see them. I've never been happier.

"So, what happened to your precious face?" She asked rubbing a little bruise under my eye. I winced in pain at the touch.

"When you and dad separated, he couldn't keep me after two years because he couldn't afford to take care of me, so I was put into foster care. They treat me like I'm nothing. My foster dad is extremely abusive, that's where I get my bruises from, you should look at my back.. But anyway, my foster mom laughs when I'm getting hurt, and treats me as her slave. I have to do a bunch of work around the house, and my foster brother molests me and him and his little friends rape me sometimes.. And I am just hated.. I'm not considered family.. I never had my birthday or celebrated Christmas. They did, but excluded me out.." I said starting to tear up.

She looked more angry rather upset. I hope I didn't ruin anything.. Maybe she's mad at them..

"How could they do that? This pisses me off. I'm calling authorities.. I'm going to regain custody of you. I'm so sorry," she hugged me tightly. I jumped a bit at the pain from my back.

"Oh, I'm sorry, honey, let me look at your back," she said turning me around.

I nodded. She lifted the back of my shirt up. She started examining my back. She gasped.

"This isn't acceptable.. Luke.. Look at her back!" She exclaimed.

He came rushing in along with Ashton following behind. They both murmured an 'oh my God'.

"Where are these people?" She asked sternly.

"A Christmas vacation.." I replied quietly.

"I never heard of such disgusting people in my life.. I'm taking this to court, I'm going to try to gain custody over you, ok? Because you deserve better than that," she says tucking a stand of hair behind my ear.

I nodded. I was honestly glad. I deserve justice. I've dealt with all of this since I was 5 years old.

"How about that dinner and movie, yeah?" She blurted out after a long silence. We all nodded in agreement.

Updated! Yay!! So Ashlynn met Luke and her mother! She told her mother about what she's been through , and a bunch of blah blah blah. I didn't know where it how to end this chapter, I want ed to keep writing it, but I'm basically going to end up writing the whole story on this chapter if I did, aha, but I'm kinda iffy about it, but yeah, 117 reads and 37 votes last time I checked!
