I looked through the old bookshelves in the dusty room that I had to stay in. After a day staying in the castle, things get boring. I took a empty book from the bookshelf and dust off the dust.

I opened the book put the pages were blank. I frowned and made sure the pages were actually blank. Well, it definitely is.

I walked to the cabinet and pulled out a pen from the drawer and scribbled plans of how to kill Queen Charlotte.

Five minutes past and I realized that Queen Charlotte knew I was a assassin and I couldn't fool her. Unless she is blind.

I closed the book and grabbed a broom to sweep the dust off the floor. Until I stepped on something that is oddly familiar. There was one plank that stood a bit lower than the other planks on the floor.

I pulled the plank that was out of shape and dust flew everywhere which causes me to cough. Until I saw a box with the carvings A.D.

The initials were familiar. I traced the carvings with my finger and opened the wooden box.

Inside the box was a dagger with the same cavings on the handle. I admired it for a second and realized the metal felt different.

It felt more dense. A way to find this metal is to bring it to the dagger keeper. I rushed out the door with the dagger attached to its sheath which is attached to my leg and bumped into Queen Charlotte and King Noah.

"Oooooooooooof" I said. I saw Queen Charlotte drop her glass of wine and it splattered on her lower bottom dress.

King Noah, well he just remained calm I guess. "AVERY!" Queen Charlotte's voice boomed with anger.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry" I exclaimed. "Little Girl, you will pay for this by working extra hours for this whole week." Queen Charlotte shouted.

I stayed silent and looked at King Noah. Which looked at me with a are-you-ok look. I nodded and ran out the castle doors.

Night is coming soon and oh boy you really don't want to be outside in the dark. I ran into the woods and turned my head to see how far i was from the castle.

Until I turned around and bumped into someone hard and I tumbled back and fell on the ground.

The sheath flew out of my leg and it landed next to the person. The person groaned and rubbed his head. I could tell it was a man but I couldn't see his face due to the hood.

"You better be careful next time." the person muttered. I nodded and panicked as I saw the sheath very close to him.

The person could have taken it and stabbed her. But instead he turned around and saw the sheath.

He picked it up and drew the dagger out of its sheath. He examined it and saw the initial carvings. He traced it with his fingers and chuckles.

He took off his hood and said," Hello my name is Alastair Darrington."
