Part 2

Mrs. Daniel's(Ken's mom) Pov:

"Aunty" my brother's daughter, Rika welcomes me with her tight hug and teary eyes. It's almost 6 months completed the time I came to meet my brother and Rika.

"Rika, You have Guitar class, right. Go to that" my sister-in-law said to Rika and she left me unwillingly after giving a hug to me. These kids(Ken and Rika), they had a fight in their childhood when they were only 10 years old and from that fight until now they are hating each other and due to that Ken is always avoiding to visit the town and Rika also avoids the topic about Ken. She doesn't even know how is Ken looks like and the same goes to Ken.

"Sister, Tell me now, what happened to you? Why do you look so sad?" my brother asked me and I could able to see his worried look and I started to narrate the whole story to my brother and sister-in-law.

"How is Ken, now?"

"He was totally heartbroken and doing part-time Jobs. He lost his smile. Poor boy" I told them with tears filled with eyes and gave them some papers after seeing the details in that paper they blast into crying " What will Ken do in future without me?" I cried out. It's a medical report, which says that I have cancer probably the last stage.

During this was going on here. Ken shares everything with his Girlfriend and did his part-time job. She encouraged him and promised that she will support him till the end.

Rika's Pov:

I return home. There was a calm situation at home. I sit near my aunt. Actually, I love my aunt so deeply. Even if I hide something from mom, my aunt found out that correctly. Even she will able to say what I am thinking, what's up with me, everything totally everything. I also share everything with her. we both have a similar attitude too.But today I sensed something is off with my aunt.

"What happened, aunt? Why do you look sad?" I asked her but her reply made me undergo a deep shock.

"I was divorced"

"What! How does it happen?" I asked her but my shocked level didn't get reduced.

"Rika, Dear. Do you love me?" she asked me while cupping my face.

"Yes, Aunt"

"Then If I ask you anything to do will you?"

"Anything for you aunt if you say so there will be sure some reason. I will do whatever it is" I answered her with confidence without knowing what is coming behind those words but I have faith in my aunt she won't do anything to hurt me.

"Will you promise me?" she asked me like a child.

"I will promise you from my bottom of heart, so tell me"

"It's against your will Rika. It will be tough for you. Sorry Rika, you will hate me but there is no way for me"

"Aunt, say to me I told you Nah anything for me", I told her while cupping her cheeks with my palm.

"Rika you have to take care of my Son. I mean you have to marry him"

Without any second thought, I said, "Ok, aunty" I know I hate Ken, but it's my Aunt's wish. While hearing my words tears are rolling down from Aunt's eyes.

"I said Ok, Why are you crying? I will be with you aunty so I am too happy about it."

"I may not be with you Rika" she murmurs to herself but I heard it clearly.

"No need, I will be with you only. I don't want to live with him alone" I said while pouting my lips.

"Promise me, Rika"

"Ok, I love you so much Aunty" I hugged her.

"I know, you didn't like Ken. Even though you promised me. Thank you so much, Rika" she said while placing her cheek on my collarbone.

"Don't worry. If this marriage makes you happy. I will do it" I assure her.

"Wanna see his picture?" She asked me.

"No thanks, Aunty. I will marry him whatever he looks like, so don't worry".

Mrs.Daniel's Pov:

I am at my home I am happy that Rika accepted my request but I can't fulfill her wish. I didn't say anything to my son but he looks after me very well but I hide everything from him. 

Two days later, 

"Aunty" I heard Rika's voice on the other side of the receiver[ and I sensed something fishy in her voice.

"What happened, Rika?"

"Aunty, Seung Jo Proposed to me"

"What?" I asked her and she started to explain.

Flashback of Rika:

Aunty wants me to marry Ken, I know I hate him but it's all past now, I can live with my Aunty that's alone present.

"Rika, Seung Jo returned home" my mom informed me.

"Really" I went to meet Seung Jo. I got my friend back and had time together.

"Rika, I have something to tell you"

"What?"

"I don't know what went to me this past 5 years. I was in love with you madly" I was totally shocked to hear those words and I felt numb in front of him. Then a bit later.

"I like you, Seung Jo as a friend. I can't imagine you as a life partner. Sorry" I said while holding his hand.

"I will wait for you"

"No, Don't do it. Don't wait for me. Already my life was decided" I know he is clueless but I can't stay with him so I left the place but his words it really upsets me and when I tried to tell this matter to Erika she was in the burst of the laugh. I didn't imagiine this from her.

 The flashback ends here....

"Do you like him?" I asked Rika after hearing him out.

"Yes, but not more than as a friend" her words made me smile.

"Then don't worry" we ended the call.

Rika couldn't able to face Seung Jo couple of days and when she went to his home. She is welcomed with an empty house. Seung Jo shifted to his dad's place. Rika is totally left alone.
