*13 years earlier*
Date: 9/10/01
"Hey, Grammy, did you call Mum and Dada yet?" Grammy said "Yes, darling, they're almost there." My parents are going to New York! I am super duper excited for them! I said "Wow! Grammy, can you help build blocks with me?" She smiled and nodded her head as we started to build. When we were done I said "Grammy, I'm tired." She said "Okay, honey, come upstairs." We walked up the stairs as we made it to my bed. She tucked me in and said "Good night, Zoey." "Good night, Grammy."
Date: 9/11/01
"NO! NO! NO! This can't be! Oh, my!" I ran down stairs. I said "What happened, Grammy?" She said "(Sniffle) Just watch this, darling. I'm so sorry." The news said:
"Breaking news, 2 planes clashed together into the Twin Towers, killing many including the riders of both planes. The death toll is estimated to rise above 1,000 people. The names of some of the late riders are: Charles Barkley, Diana Barkley, Daniel Craig, Maria Perry , Penelope Edwards, and many many more. Such a tragic event. My prayers go out to all families that have lost a loved one." They said my mom and dad's name! "But, No! (cries loudly) I want Mum and Dada!" Grammy said "It's okay."
*5 months after parents died*
5 months after Mum and Dada died, Grammy died of a heart attack. I am so alone. I'm being sent to a foster home. This is the worst years of my life! I hate 2001 and 2002!
