You can see how this is strange, right?" Jessica said beside me, looking between her compact mirror and me. "Oh come on, what's living without a bit of a...risk." I replied, shutting my locker door closed, its been two days since I've talked with Ian. Today was Friday which meant he was going to call me tonight to organize the 'date' tomorrow.
He somehow seemed more...confident. I talked with the guy a few times in Chemistry throughout this semester, he seemed quiet and somewhat shy but on Tuesday he seemed like the most confident guy in this school. It was strange, as Jessica described.
"Okay, but please be careful, okay? We don't know who this guy really is." She says, following me towards third period which happened to be Chemistry.
"Okay Jess, I'll be careful." I say and we both begin to talk about something different.
As I walked into the classroom I could immediately feel a pair of eyes on me. It was Ian. I returned his stare with a smile and he looked away, embarrassed. Huh.
