Chapter Twenty-Nine;

Ariella’s P.O.V

~The next morning

I woke up on the couch at the boys’ house. I opened my eyes and shifted to sit up. I looked around to see Abbey on one of the other couches, sound asleep. I checked the time and saw it was 10am. I ignored the amount of texts I had from Luke, who was in his room, he was just texting me because he was drunk and because I refused to stay with him while he was in such a drunken state. I stood up and went to the kitchen to get a drink.

“Shut up,” Abbey said as I got out a glass

“Sorry, I was just getting some-”

“Shut up!”

I tried to get water as quietly as I could before sitting down on the couch.

“Ariella seriously shut up please,”

“I’m not even making any noise,”

“I know, sorry, it’s just that you sat on the couch after you put Luke to sleep and you said you would help me out with the rest of them and you fell asleep so I’m really fucking tired,”

“Wait, I went to sleep while everyone was being loud?”

“Yeah! It was insane! Calum just wouldn’t go to bed and Ashton was trying to get me to go with him and then Michael was being really protective because of Ashton and they started verbally fighting, and Ashton hit Michael because of something he said about us hooking up or something, so he’s going to have a bruise but hopefully he won’t remember so I will tell him he fell over when we were getting into the car or something, and I won’t tell Ashton he did it. They are meant to be friends, they are meant to be mashton,” she said ‘air quoting’ at the ship name

“I never thought I would hear you say a 5sos ship name,”

“Well I just did,”

“Do you have any idea what we are going to do today?”

“Yeah, when everyone gets up we will go to starbucks, probably just with Ashton and then go down to the school,”

“Why just Ashton?”

“Because he is the eldest and it’s easier to just get him to sign the papers as a guardian,”

“It’s shocking how illegal our lives are right now,”

“I know, I think we should just wake him up at like lunch time,”

“Yeah, that’s a good idea, what are we going to do until then?”

“Sleep?”

“Of course you would say that,”

“I actually think I am going to go see Michael, he may not be awake but I am going to make sure he’s okay,”

“Do you want me to check on everyone else? Considering you didn’t get to sleep for ages after me,”

“Please! Just make sure they are asleep,”

“Okay,”

I stood up and walked over to Calum’s room; I silently walked in and heard faint snores. I walked out and went to Ashton’s, again, the same thing. I saw Abbey still in the lounge before I walked into Luke’s room.

“Ariella,” He said quietly. I couldn’t decide if he was awake or if he was talking in his sleep.
