Chapter Thirty-Three;

Ariella’s P.O.V

“What now?” I said when we walked out of the movie theatre.

“I’m going to use the bathroom,” Luke said walking ahead of Calum and I.

“What did you think of the movie?” Calum asked

“I didn’t enjoy it, but it’s okay, did you enjoy it?”

“One of the best movies I have seen, why didn’t you like it?”

“It’s not really my kind of movie, but I had Luke to snuggle with so it was all good,”

“You and Luke are really good together,” he said and I couldn’t help but blush

“Thanks Cal!” I said.

A few seconds of silence passed before Luke returned. He took my hand.

“Let’s get going,” he said

We walked over to the car and got in; he started driving around an area that I found vaguely familiar due to a starbucks being located here. Luke parked outside a Mexican restaurant and we all went in. A few fans came and said hi, asking for photos and autographs. We all ordered food and started a conversation in which Calum was cracking jokes and Luke was doing the eyebrow thing.

After an hour and a half we paid for the meal and left, heading home.

“I think that was one of the best nights we’ve had as a group of three,” I said as we walked through the door of their house.

“Yeah, it was awesome,” Calum agreed

“We need to do something like it again!” I exclaimed.

Luke nodded and Calum excused himself.

“I’ve been waiting to do this all night,” Luke said grabbing my waist and pulling me in for a kiss.

Abbey’s P.O.V

“You’re mum seems so sweet!” I said when we were ready to jump into bed.

“Yeah, what’s your family like? We’ve never spoken about them,” He mentioned

“My family? You don’t want to know about my family,” I said, hoping he wouldn’t notice the awkward fake laugh I used

“Yes, I do,” He said pulling me down onto the bed and putting his arm around me.

 “Are you sure?”

“Yeah, I’m sure,”

“Well basically, my parents got divorced when I was 7 and then I started to alternate houses so I could see them both. My mum and I started fighting a lot when I started intermediate, and my dad started being a complete dick. I actually have three brothers but they were from my dad’s first marriage; and they were the only people I didn’t fight with. My mum and I never really got along and it got to a point where I started leaving the house before she got home and coming back after she had gone to bed, or staying out at the beach for most of the night, and my dad and I got along sixty percent of the time, and I moved here because I couldn’t take it anymore,”

“I would have left if I was in that position too, why don’t you like to talk about it?”

“Because they are my parents and it feels like they hate me, but I didn’t tell them I was going, I just left,”

“But they know now,”

“Obviously my brother would have told them, or mum would have found out before she called and had a go at me for going out with you,”

Michael’s P.O.V

I felt my phone go off and I quickly checked it

Ashton: *I hope you have a good weekend!*

Michael: *Why are you saying this? What do you have planned?*

Ashton: *I was just trying to be nice, but now you mention it, I have a little something up my sleeve to end your relationship*

Michael: *Whatever Ash, you wouldn’t dare. I will see you soon*

I put my phone away and she shifted uncomfortably under me.

“Do you want to change the subject?” I asked

“Please,”

“Come with me,”

I got out of the bed and opened the window in my room

“You have to go through the window,” I said

She laughed and went through, me following after her. I took her hand and we started running out to the backyard.

“Where are we going?” She whispered

“Just follow me,”

We continued to run hand in hand before opening a gate to a park. We ran to the centre of the field. She let go of my hand and started to spin in circles. I laughed at her but joined in until we were both lying on the floor, laughing and watching the world ‘move’. She rolled closer to me and put her head on my chest.

“Fuck I love you,” she said through laughs.

I felt my stomach flutter as the words left her mouth.

“I love you too,” I said, kissing her forehead while her smile grew.
