It's been 70 years since India got independence,but physically. You might think how physically,right? This is because,mentally there is no independence. Specially for women.
The society is so cruel,that it continues to accuse women for whatever mishap takes place. The producers and film makers come up with new stories based on the cases of murder or rape. All movies,like Mardaani,Mom,No one killed Jessica and Pink have the same moral-women empowerment. But these films are only views for a motive of entertainment.
Some societies are so backward,that they don't even encourage divorce. In every dark story,the male portrays the lead. A playboy is never commented upon his character,but a forced mistress is,definitely. Boys are told never to cry,while girls are told never to raise their voice. But,does this really mean that they will bear all the torture? It's really idiotic.
Many writers are exiting wattpad due to these accusations upon them. We need to stop this. We definitely need to prove that the phrase "Naari Shakti Zindabaad" holds true for us. We need to fight back.
