So DR . Richard hurried off to thr rooms at 221 B , Baker Street , where Jim Rockford lived . Rockford was seated at the table working on a chemical experiment . . He had a test tube in his hand when Dr. Richard came in , he said , " Ah ! Richard , you are just in time for an interesting experiment . IF this paper remains blue , everything is okay . IF it turns red , it means a man's life " . As he dipped the paper it turn a dirty red . Rockford looked pleased . then he turned and said , " Richard , help yourself to the cigarette and tell me what you have come to say . " DR . Richard handed him ( Rockford ) the letter ,which he looked for some time with interest . He said , " A woman has written this ! I am already interested in this case . Let us go ! . "
