I tapped on my phone case in thought. When? Normally, I would have said afterschool in the library of course, but after seeing how far behind Namjoon was, I knew that was marked off the list.
It wasn't like he was slow. He was the exact opposite. He caught on really quickly and to be honest, he was way smarter than me. The only problem was that he didn't like doing his assignments at all.
In about a few weeks, he probably would suppress me on the ranks.
But he was really behind.
ha-seon: we could work on the project at your house?
yoongi: why not your house?
I frowned and typed a response.
ha-seon: do you like children running around and bothering you?
yoongi: Ok anytime after 6 is fine
I laughed to myself at his quick reply and saved his address for later.
The real reason why I didn't want him over was because of my father. He would go crazy if he saw another male in the house.
Plus, he wouldn't notice if I didn't come home until eleven. I usually came home around that time after studying at the library, anyways.
A new notification went off on my phone and I opened it to see it was Namjoon.

I stared at the new contact name he had changed it to. Honestly, I didn't even know why he had done that but didn't care enough to change it.

Hearing footsteps throughout the house, I quickly shut off notifications and alerts on my phone and slid it underneath my workbook. The turn of the doorknob squeaked and I already was working on a problem when my dad entered the room.
I could feel his intense stare judging me from the door frame, but tried not to show how nervous I was. If he noticed, he probably would realize something was up.
