Prologue

Prologue.

"Pricilla I'm so glad you came!" Phoebe said.

She gave a kiss on both sides of my cheek.

I gave her a small hug. "Of course. How could I not?." I smiled at her "By the way Phob, Happy Birthday! Wala paring kupas ang ganda mo!"

Humagikhik sya sa sinabi ko.

"Asus! bolera ka talaga kahit kailan! Halika sumunod ka saken may ipakilala ako sayo new friend ko!"

Sumunod ako sakanya nilibot ko ang aking paningin sa venue. It's marvelous! Simple lang ang party ni Phoebe kahit mayaman sila ayaw nya kasing sobrang engrande ang kanyang kaarawan.

"Hey Brig! This is Pricilla my former classmate in highschool. Pricilla this is Brigitta"

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Brigitta at umupo din si Phoebe sa tabi ni Brigitta bali napapagitnaan namin si Brigitta.

"Uh, hello!" I gave her an awkward smile.

"Hi Pricilla, I'm Brigitta nice to meet you!" she gave me a sweet smile na naka pikit pa ang kanyang dalawang mala chinita na mata medyo familiar...

Wait.. Is she the woman?

I gazed at her and I saw how beautiful she was when she opened her eyes and looked at me. Bagay sila. Mabuti naman at naka bingwit sya ng sirena at hindi pating.

"Briggita let---"

Napa tigin ako sa likod ko ng may nag salita nanlaki ang dalawang mata ko ngunit kumalma agad ako baka sabihin niyang affected pa rin ako after 3 years? Hell no. I was breathing heavily so I tried again so hard to calm myself. I glanced at him ganoon din sya. He had the same reaction when our eyes met. I bit my lower lip and looked away.

"Adryan! Where have you been? Alam mo kanina pa kami naghihintay sayo ni Brigitte!" Phoebe said.

So Phoebe and Hadrianus they know each other? Ba't ngayon ko lang alam?

"Phoebe I'm sorry but we need to go na." Hadrianus said with serious voice.

"Wait! I'll introduce you---"

"Phobe you don't have to introduce her to me anymore..." he looked at me and gave a small smile. Hindi ko alam kung plastik ba yun.

I slowly stood up and looked at him. Why do I seem to be hurt by what he said today? Why am I affected? Why am I nervous? Why do I feel guilty for what I did to him before? Bakit ngayon pa?

"Why not Andryan? Unless you two already know each other." Brigitte said innocently.

Ba't parang wala siyang alam? Didn't Andryan tell him about the two of us?

"I already know him" seryosong sabi ko.

I cannot take it anymore.

"He would have been my everlasting love..."
