Love You So Bad [Ongoing!]

---After the mishap, in the hospital---

The ever so hopeful doctor Hoseok was taking his usual rounds. He was on his night shift duty that night. Though weariness and drowsiness had taken over him, he was performing his duties as a doctor. He always had that perpetual smile plastered on his face whenever he met any patient, or a doctor or any hospital staff. That is why he was regarded as the "sunshine" of the hospital.

He had a very hectic schedule that night. After attending patients since morning and performing three surgeries, he was completely exhausted. He could feel the stiffening of his shoulders and neck yet he never wiped off that smile from his face. After visiting the children's ward, he went downstairs to the 24X7 hospital cafeteria to fetch a cup of coffee for himself, which would aid him to pull an all-nighter.

As soon as the elevator dinged, indicating to him that he reached the ground floor, he exited the car and made his way to the reception.

Four patients had arrived in the hospital. Dead bodies rather, as their faces were covered with the white sheet. To be exact, three bodies had their faces covered with white sheet. The three of them were the victims of a car accident in which they died on the spot. The fourth one was still breathing. Struggling to breathe.

Little did Hoseok realize that his legs began to move mechanically towards the fourth patient. When he was within a 50cm radius of the victim to who fading fast, his heart wrenched at the sight of him. All he saw was blood.

Far too much blood.

While he was about to move away, something occurred to him. His eyes were raking up and down the victim's body when he recognized the patient's slender form which looked completely battered and bruised.

Very familiar form.

His soft brown hair glistened with a thick red liquid which was draining from his system. His face was tainted with several bruises and cuts. He looked appallingly pale.

Hoseok had never been so frantic in his entire life. As if he had seen some apparition or was watching a horror movie, but what he was observing was not fiction but the hardcore reality itself.

Before he could realize, he emanated an inhuman shriek, not caring if the other hospital staff or patient got disturbed by him.

"J.....J...." Before he could pronounce the name, he zoned out.

---After the mishap, in the emergency room---

"Paging for Dr. Namjoon. Paging for Dr. Namjoon. Please proceed to the emergency room on the 5th floor immediately."

Namjoon quickly proceeded to the emergency room after hearing the page. Being young, he was one of the best surgeons in town.

"What's wrong?" He casually asked the nurses while he was doing his routine sterilizing procedures.

"A serious accident," Jimin replied in a quivering tone.

"A head injury?" He asked again.

"Yes, doctor. A very serious head injury. You are the only one available at this moment so you were being paged."

"Heartbeat?" He asked Jimin as he stepped into the surgical area.

His supervisor Dr. Choi was also present in the emergency room.

"Unstable," Jimin replied.

"Blood pressure?"

"Extremely low."

"Okay. Prepare another 2000cc of blood. In the meantime, give him a 500cc." He instructed Jimin after learning about the patient's condition.

When the blood from the victim's face was wiped away, to his horror, he recognized him. He felt a tug in his heart to see in that horrifying situation. He realized why Jimin's voice was quivering.

Though he was one of the best doctors who had performed surgeries with success, for the first time in his entire life, he felt his hand shaking.

"Namjoon. Focus. Don't get distracted." Dr. Choi instructed him when he saw his junior spacing out.

Namjoon mumbled an apology and continued to perform the surgery.

'Please pull through.' He prayed.
