My Princess

Kim Hyejin had always thought of herself as a princess because all princesses were kind-hearted, selfless, and always there to help.. or well according to Disney. She's always wanted to be a princess. She prayed everyday and every night she'd wake up and find out she's actually a princess rather than an ordinary girl with divorced parents where every weekend and break, she would have to visit her abusive father and his adoptive and step-children who hate her so much.

Her mother isn't abusive.. well...not physically but mentally. Her mother is jealous of her daughter for turning out beautiful. Her mother's co-workers always compare her and her mother's beauty. Her mother is only mentally abusive when her mother's co-workers compare their beauty but other than that, her mother is quite nice and caring.

Hyejin only has one childhood friend she's always stuck with. The childhood friend of hers knows all her secrets as well as her likes and dislikes and what she's going through. He's always there when she gets stuck in her classes or when she gets picked on or bullied in and out of school. He's the kindest. The most kind-hearted , helpful and caring person she knows. He's always seems to be there to save the day. Save her from harm..

"My knight in shining armor"

She never understood why her parents would hate or dislike her so much. She swore they were a happy family filled with laughter and well.. happiness. Who knows? Maybe they both weren't satisfied with her at all.

"All I wanted was for us to be happy"
