I heard the horse men getting closer as the horses hoves hit the mud making splashes. I ran as fast as I could with my bare feet. My hair wet and sticking to my face and the rain running down my face. I didn't stop to look back not once. My chest started burning and my body became weak. I ran out of breath and stumbled. I sat on my knees with my head down and my hands holding my upper body up. The horses stopped. They were surrounding me now. I heard someone get off the horse but I didn't dare to look up from the ground. "Tsk tsk tsk Violet. How could you commit such a crime then try to hide away from your sins?' The man said. I knew exactly who it was. "I didn't do anything.' I said gruffly but this seemed to make him smile. "Don't deny it Violet! If I could I would behead you right at this moment...' He said sternly and I sensed a smile rise from his face.
"...but I'll leave that to the King.' It was silent then.
I still couldn't believe it. I suddenly heard a painful scream from one of the men. "No! It can't be!' I heard the man say. "Sir we need to leave!' I heard another shout. "But the gir...' I heard another scream. I lifted my head to see a bloody man hanging on a tree and another headless. The rest of them started panicking and retreated back to the castle. "We'll tell the king she died in the forest.' I heard one of them shout to the other. Die!? What was happening? I got up to brace myself to start running but what I saw was soo horrific I didn't have the strength to even scream.

"It's stupid Vi!' Jin said sternly. Jin was my best friend ever since 3rd grade. He had black hair and dark eyes which he wore glasses over sometimes. Jin wasn't really a bad boy but he wasn't a super nerd either. Just somewhere in between.
"Stupid? Its actually happens Jin.' I said convincingly. We were in the library and I had just shown Jin a book which was about black magic. He didn't believe in these kind of stuff but I was really into it.
"Its impossible to summon an inhuman being just by beating a drum.' He said grabbing a book as we walked through the passage of bookshelves. "Actually it is possible. See the drum was used by his ancestors who filled it with magic and it was smeared with a demons blood. Therefore it has powers.' "Whatever.' Jin said giving his book to the librarian.
"Guys!' Hoseok shouted from across the hall and jogged towards us. He was quickly hushed by students and walked slowly looking at the students with a disgusted face "Yikes sorry.' He said sarcastically. "Hey Hoseok!' I said softly. "Hobi this is a library not a bar you can't just come in here and start yelling. Other people are trying to concentrate.' Jin said dryly. "Ohh right I forgot. I'm in your on turf now.' He said making me chuckle. "Haha very funny.' Jin replied him sarcastically. "Soo graduation huh? Aren't you guys excited? Growing up and stuff.' Hoseok asked as we walked down the hall towards the door headed for home."I've already prepared a speech.' Jin said making a smile rise from his face. "I don't have a speech.' Hoseok whined. "That's okay. You can use my speech. It goes like this, 'see you at the Grammys losers.' We all laughed. "Best speech ever. Look you're getting me emotional.' Jin said pretending to wipe a tear from his face. I playfully punched his shoulder telling him to shut up.
When I got home I took off my black jacket and threw it on the couch. "Mom!' I screamed upstairs to find no response. Huh she must be at work. I sprinted to my laptop and switched on the TV to play in the back round. I had received a message from one of my friends Jae emailed me.
Hey weirdo, ready to become an adult tomorrow?
I smiled reading the email. Tomorrow I was finally graduating from highschool and I was soo excited. I heard the door open and I swung my body up from the couch to see who it was. "Ohh God its you. Hi sweety' she sighed in relief. Who else was she expecting? We're the only two people who live here. "Hey mom. You're late today.' I said turning back to my laptop. "Yeah, I ah had some things to do.' She said placing her hand bag on the table. She gave me a kiss on the forehead and went upstairs.
