A Little Weird(England x reader)

You were in your room, packing your clothes since your mom told you that was all you really needed. You and your mom were going to be moving in with her boyfriend and future husband. She was very excited but you, on the other hand, wasn't quite as excited. Since you were the only child, and your mom was divorced, you never had to share her with anybody but now you had to trust this man with her. You didn't dislike him or anything. He was nice and when he met you, he asked a lot of questioned about you, as if he was actually interested. Plus he was rich. Like he can fill a house with hundred dollar bills and swim in it, type rich. He had five kids, so he had to have some kind of money since they all lived with him too. You haven't met them yet but your mom told you they were all boys.

You heard knocking on your bedroom door. Your mom peeked her head in. "Knock. Knock. How's that packing going?"

"Fine. I'm almost done"

"Great! Get everything in the car!"

"W-wait! We're leaving like now?!"

"Well if you're all done, what's the point in waiting?"

"It's like nine o'clock at night!", you firmly stated. "I was gonna go to bed after this! I'm in my night clothes!"

"Oh...I thought you always dressed like that"

You looked down at your oversized, white graphic shirt and green basketball shorts. "Well...Yeah but I was gonna sleep in this one"

"You'll be fine!", your mom waved her hand side to side to assure you. "To the car!", she announced then disappeared from your room.

You sighed heavily, "I should've known this was gonna move fast" You picked up your bags then began walking out of your room. "Told me two days ago, '(name). Guess what? We're moving' Now it's all, 'Get in the car at nine at night so we can go' It's all moving so quickly"

When you get to the car, you toss your few bags into the trunk before making your way to the passengers seat and buckling up. Your mom was already prepared in the driver's seat. "You ready? The drive is gonna be about an hour, I think"

"So we're getting there at ten?!"

"Maybe"

You slid down into your seat then placed your earplugs in your ears before the car started. Luckily, you had your phone with you on full charge to help you through the sudden long drive you were going on. On the drive, whenever your music was changing to a new song, you could hear your mom singing along with her cd's that she brought with her. Every now and then, you would pause your music to listen to what she was listening to.

You were rocking to your music when you felt the car and the engine stop. You paused the song you were listening to the looked out your window towards the huge house you were parked in front of. "Is...Is that where we're living?"

"I know right? Upgrade your whole life", your mom mentioned before exiting the car. You unbuckled your seat belt, still in awe of the house. You manged to get out of the car and shake yourself out of that state of shock. You got your bags from the back then walked to the door with your mom. She knocked on the door with a smile so bright, you've rarely seen it. You waited for awhile but soon your mom's boyfriend came to the door. "Hey!"

"Oh, hello love! I'm glad you're finally here", you saw him lean over and give your mom a kiss on the cheek. You narrowed your eyes elsewhere. "Hello (name). It's nice to see you again"

"Uh-huh. You too, dude", you nodded once towards him since your hands were full with your bags. Your mom elbowed you. "I-I mean uhm...Sup"

Your mom lowered her head and sighed, "Sorry about (name)"
