Chapter 5: Unmasked?

"So, would you like to try to answer my question with the right answer?" Ivy asked, crossing her arms with a smirk.

"Uhh, hey look over there!" Henry pointed behind Ivy. She turned around, distracted and while Henry had the chance he ran over to the door and desperately began to pull on the doorknob hoping it would break free.

"What? I don't see any--hey!!!" She yelled, whipping around. This time shocking them both for only 15 seconds. Ivy then began to laugh at the heroes who were now both on the ground, breathing heavily.

"You actually thought that would work! How pathetic. Hm, I'm hungry! I'm going to go order some Chinese food! And no, you can't have any!" She smiled innocently as she hopped up the stairs.

Henry helped himself up on the wall then sat back down. "Ok, that girl....has some serious issues!" Henry's eyes suddenly widened as he done the hand across his throats symbol.

"She can hear and see everything we do! Remember??" Henry whispered, looking around nervously. Ray suddenly jumped back as if something were about to happen. "Oh...right. Hey, you think she'll let us have any wonton soup?"

Henry glared at his boss, not knowing what to think. "Hey, I'm gonna try my phone again and see if I can reach anyone," he said after a good long sigh of annoyance.

Henry tried a trick he actually learned from Jasper when he was doing his life hack videos, of how you can get your phone battery to give you at least 5% if you press and hold the home and power button together at the same time for 30 seconds.

"Come on, come on....AHA! YES! It worked!" He cheered as his phone began to power on. "What? You got it?!" Ray asked happily. Henry nodded as he typed in his password. "Yes! Nice going Kid!"

"Ok, now contacts, contacts! Ok, now let's see....Charlotte....Charlotte....got it! Argh! Ring! Yes! Hello?! Charlotte?!"

"Henry! Thank God! I got ahold of Henry!!!" Charlotte announced to Schwoz and Jasper back in the Man Cave. "Hey guys!" Henry smiled with relief when he heard their voices. "Where are you?! What happened?? We told your parents you had a sleepover at Jasper's, and now they're getting suspicious," she explained.

Henry frowned, completely forgetting. "My parents...? Oh no....but uh, anyway. Char, listen to me! Write this down! We're at 16 Candie lane at this giant blue house two blocks away from mine, ok? Ra--Captain Man and I are trapped down here in the basement. Please hurry--"

"What? You're breaking up! I think I got it though, I'll be--" suddenly Henry's phone died. He sighed putting it back in his pocket.

"Alright, I got ahold of her. She should be coming soon....I hope." Henry looked down, beginning to doubt she'll ever show up.

"Yes! We're gonna be saved!" Ray cheered, hugging Henry.

"Get comfortable! Cause you two aren't going anywhere." Ivy smirked coming back down the basement. Henry and Ray exchanged nervous glances.
