Idk about you but seeing a fanfic with the OC being Elena's twin is so overused especially with the title being "The Other Gilbert."
Like srsly?
You have to be so unoriginal that you put your OC as a Gilbert?
I mean ok I get it, it makes it easier for your OC to fit into the plot line. But in the end it's still the same as any other plot line used when it's Elena's twin or just another Gilbert in general.
"Hi I'm Sarah Gilbert and I'm falling for Damon Salvatore/Klaus Mikaelson!"
It's literally the same thing and get this the twin either ends up as a doppleganger too or is adopted and not related to Elena at all.
So guys please be more original with your OC/plot line ideas.
