The window smashed open, glass shards littered the floor, revealing Akuma. At once everyone jumped onto their feet, but Lydia gave us a hand signal, telling us to stand down. 'Why are you here?' She ordered.
'Tyrant is still alive.'
'But how, he died in my arms!' Exclaimed Rex, his voice a mixture of disbelief and happiness.
'If you want him, go to DSA's old base tonight at 7, if you don't come, Tyrant will be killed,' he continues, holding up his phone displaying a picture of Tyrant tied to a chair with duct tape covering his mouth and his eyes blindfolded by a white cloth. Akuma jumps onto the window sill, 'See you there,' he grins as he pushes himself off the window sill and into the sky as he flys off, with large black feathered wings attached on his back. 'What do we do?' questioned Ren.
'We go to the old base, we will save our comrade,' declares Lydia, her voice clear and full of authority. I turned to slightly glance at Rex, he's expression was unreadable. This must have been what the note was warning us of, it was happening tonight.
———————————————————————————————
The cool spring breeze whips my hair onto my face, as I stand with my foe, the monstrous building looms over us, it's shadow encasing us with darkness, covering the luminous bright dish in the starry night sky. In front of us stands Akuma, Yami, The Crimson Killer and behind them, Tyrant, who was tied to a chair. On either sides stood a row of immaculate enemies, their hands all gripping the hilt of their swords, ready to remove their swords from their sheath if we were to attack. 'Give us Tyrant!' Demanded Lydia.
'Well your going to have to take him by force,' answers Yami, with a deadly tone twisted with the calmness of his voice. We charge forward, the immaculate rows of soldiers rushing towards us as well. In a matter of minutes, their bloodied bodies were left covering the ground. 'Not bad,' mutters Akuma as he lunges forward, with a katana in his hand, his fingers wrapped tightly around the hilt. Ren blocks the sword with his with a clash as their blades collide. Akuma jumps away, he places his hand flat on the ground, his hand begins to glow, a strong blast slits the ground, forcing us to fly backwards. I lie there on the ground, my hand plants in the ground as I push my aching body up, the dirt turning my nails brown. I run forward, fire forming in my hands. Akuma aims an explosion at me and released it at me, I quickly dodge it, as soon as I was in shooting range, I threw a ball of fire at him.
The greedy monster engulfed his body in seconds, but then suddenly died down, like an invisible force had put out my flames. I shot another blast at him, only to once again have my flames devoured. 'Have you figured it out yet?' A sly grin crept onto his face. I paused, my mind now clouded with confusion, what was he talking about? 'Fine I'll tell you since it seems that have no idea what so ever, I can nullify and cancel out anyone's abilities.' But doesn't he also have the ability of explosions? How is it possible for him to have two abilities? You can only have one, the one you're born with. 'You must be trying to figure out why I have two abilities. Well, I'll save you the trouble, I am not human.'
