Chapter 1: The Alpha's Child Part 1

Enjoy this Chapter. I Was Thinking Of Making This A Drabble Story But It's Gonna Be A Full-Out Story. Also This Takes Place During AND After HTTYD 2 So Spoilers!

. . . It was dark

. . . . And very wet

. . . . But mostly just dark

I then suddenly felt warmth wash over me, like when your mother held you as a small child and cradled you close to her chest. That was the kind of warmth I felt. A voice was then heard inside my head, making me shake it a bit in surprise. The voice startled me but I found myself growing attached to it. It was soothing and gentle but also prideful and calm, all in one. I liked this voice. I moved my head forward and heard something.

I was confused. 'What is that sound?'. I thought, not only to myself but also to see if the voice will talk to me again. The voice replied to me, making me happy. I repeatedly hit the UN-seen egg shell that kept me from the outside world. Not only did the voice tell me what I was in, but also that there's more to the world than darkness. Eventually a trail of yellow light shown through the egg after a big enough hole for me to crawl through was shown. When my pupils adjusted and no loner became slits, I stared around in amazement as I crawled out of my shell.(Literally) Their were hundreds of other dragons flying around from what I can see from my position on the ground.

I was so taken aback and focused on what was in front of me, I didn't notice the rather very large being behind me. When the same gentle voice rang throughout my head, I slowly turned around to face the large creature. was massive! Over a million times bigger than me. He wasn't smiling but I could see in his turquoise eyes that he was happy to see me. He leaned his head down and nuzzled me very lightly, knowing he could easily crush me. I lightly growled and nuzzled him back, making him let out a low rumbling purr. "-at's our Alpha and he protects us and cares for us as long we all obey his commands". A voice rang out from above us. Me being new to this world, I was curious about everything.

I softly roared to get my father's attention. He turned to me and I gestured to above then back to him and I jumped up and down. He understood and leaned his head down, as I climbed onto his forehead, slightly digging my little claws into one of his frilly horns. He stood up from what I notice is a large pond and turns over to where the voice previously was. He leaned down to two weird looking dragons and an actual dragon. The two weird ones had pink-ish skin and had no wings but they wore weird scales and...is that fur?

I was highly confused now and softly mewed in confusion. Who are these people?(I don't know if dragons can 'mew' but just go with it.)

A/n: This is the first part of the story but It'll get longer when I have the time since It's about to 8:00 Pm and My eyes are beginning to droop so... If you'd like to see more, drop a comment!
