Chapter 2: A Surprise

*Nicole's POV*

I looked aroud our hotel room as I entered. Wow , I thought, This was definately big. Bigger than I expected, and too big for us three. Six people could fit in this room! 

As I put down our bags, I wandered around our hotel room. Holy Fuck, this is big. There were two kingsize beds, which I think is inappropriate. All three of us can fit to one. Where did we need the other one for? I shook my head and continued walking.

There was also a mini kitchen. Which was wonderful. I loved cooking a lot so this had to be my favorite part of the hotel room. I took a glance back and saw Hazel lying on the bed, fast asleep. No wonder it was so quiet.

I saw a small door in front of me; so instinctively, I opened it. It was the bathroom. And boy, was it beautiful. It was a regular bathroom, but it was big and so clean and white. That was what I'd like my bathroom to look like when I get my own house. That's why I'm in total awe. 

I was searching the mini fridge for something to eat when someone knoked on our door. Hazel, who  was apparently awakened by the loud knocking, stood up to get the door grumpily. 

"SURPRISE!!!!!!" I heard voices shout.

"Oh my God!" Hazel shouted back and hugged our visitors.

Of course, curiousity got to me and I walked over to see our unexpected guests. When I saw who they were, my jaw dropped. 

It was my cousins, Kaidi and Rob. I haven’t seen them in two years which really sucked cause I get along with them well. And if it isn’t obvious yet, so does Hazel.

Kaidi was also a very big Directioner, just like me and Hazel. That was one of the reasons why we never lose touch.

As soon as Kaidi saw me, she flashed me a big smile and gave me a hug, “God, I missed you so much!” she said.

“I know, me too!” I said. I really did. We were inseperable since we were kids, she was practically my sister.

“So, how are you liking the hotel room?” Rob asked, giving me a quick hug.

“I love it! It’s so beautiful!”

“Yeah, and the bed’s nice too!” Hazel piped in.

“Well, I’m glad you like this room” smiled Rob. What’s not to like?

“Right, cause it took us weeks to find a good hotel room that you would like.” Laughed Kaidi while entering the room and sitting on the bed.

“Wow, you guys picked this up?” Hazel asked.

“We did.” answered Rob as he made his way to the kitchen to find something to eat.

“Huh. I thought Jake got us the room. So, you guys staying here?” I asked as I layed on the bed. 

“Yeah, we are. What did you think that other bed is for?”  Kaidi answered

“Nothing. Hahaha, well, that’s good then! We get to stay together” I said

“Hey, where’s Jake?” Rob asked.

Just when Rob said that, Jake entered the room and said, “Oh, I see you guys arrived already.”

“Yep.” Rob asked as he and Jake shook hands.

“Hey Nicole, I’ll be heading out for awhile, you want something to eat?” Jake said

“Sure. Pizza would be nice.” I answered, realizing I was craving for fast food.

“Okay, I’m on it! Rob, want to come?”

“Sure man.” Rob said instantly.

“Bye guys”  said Hazel as the two boys walked out the door.

“Well… it’s just us, what do you want to do?” I asked and looked at Kaidi as she flashed us a meaningful smile.

After about an hour, we were jumping on the beds while singing to the song “Up All Night” while we were flipping our heads back and forth and pointing everywhere just for the heck of it.

We fell on our backs, laughing.

“Ah, I didn’t have that much fun in years!” laughed Kaidi.

“That’s rubbish!” Hazel laughed back.

“I mean it! You think I had fun at home? All my mum made me do was study and do chores. Blegh.”

“Didn’t you have a lot of friends though?” I asked.

“Neh, I ditched them.” answered Kaidi while her head was hanging on the edge of the bed.

“Wha- what for??” Hazel asked curiously

“They keep telling me that me and Harry ain't gonna happen.”

“Ah, what a bitch!” I said.

Everyone looked at me for a moment and we all laughed. I suddenly heard these loud noises outside the door.

“Guys do you hear that?” I asked

The girls both scrunched up there noses as if to tell me “What are you talking about?”.

“Are those… screaming girls?” Hazel asked

“Screaming running girls, apparently.” Kaidi concluded.

“What the hell are they doing running and screaming at the hotel corridor?” I said, a bit frustrated.

“Aren’t the security gonna get them or something?” asked Hazel

“Maybe, but let’s find out what the fuss is all about.” said Kaidi as she stood up straightening her hair.

We stood up and walked out our room. We were almost trampled by the nosiy girls screaming “Oh my god!” and “Fuck” while they were running. Some girls were even crying. Geez, what is this all about?

We finally managed to get hold of a girl who seemed to be having a panic attack.

“What’s going on?” Kaidi asked anxiously

“Let go of me!” the girl shouted and Kaidi slapped her hard. Hazel laughed out loud and so did I.

“Sorry, you needed that.”

“I know.” The girl said while shaking her head, blinking too fast.

“So, can you tell us what’s going on?”

“One Direction is staying at this hotel!” said the girl as she ran away from us.

WHAT THE FUCK?

 "If that girl's lying then I swear, I am so gonna cut her." Kaidi said a bit too quietly.

“is she serious?” I asked in awe.

“I don’t know but we might as well find out!” said Hazel.

We looked at each other and ran and screamed as we became a part of the screaming fans.
