She giggled as she pulled out my plushie from under the couch and triumphed, while I watched in dismay. She had found my stash that I hid just because she came over afterschool. Of course, Namjoon and the rest knew about it, but I hoped she wouldn't find out.

"That's the fifth Brownie face I've found," Ha-Seon announced, "you owe me coffee like you promised."

"Yeah, yeah," I rolled my eyes, "you haven't found all of them just yet."

She gasped and began to rummage underneath the couch some more and I laughed at her seriousness of wanting free coffee.

"Don't you want to finish the project?" I asked her, realizing there was a chance she could actually find all of my plushies.

Instead of responding to me, she shuffled and tugged out another Brownie face pillow. I sighed in defeat.

"We're almost done anyways," she said to my surprise, and before I could say something back, she shoved the pillow on my face and began to laugh hysterically.

I reached up to the remove the pillow but she grabbed my hand and held it down, gasping for air, unaware of how her hand was so warm in mine. I wonder if my hand was cold or warm in hers.

"D-don't move," Ha-Seon shuffled and I realized she was taking a picture. Normally, I would've ended this madness by throwing it off and walking away, but it was my first time hearing her laugh so genuinely.

After a few seconds, I finally had enough and pulled the pillow of my face and met hers. Her eyes were brimmed with joyous tears and her cheeks flushed and she giggled, looking down at her phone.

The bruise on her cheek was already fading away, but it kept appearing in my mind.

She showed me the picture without asking if I wanted to see it. I stared at it, glad it didn't show my face but didn't see how it was funny.

"New contact picture," was all she said when she pulled the phone away.

I sat up and picked up my chopsticks and ate a few pieces of chicken as she quieted down.

I had come to terms that Ha-Seon was growing on me. Despite hating her at first, she started to become a close friend within a matter of a week. She was so straight forward and honest, and that's what I admired in a person.

She also knew what privacy meant, and I was glad she didn't ask about my family at all. One day, I knew I'd tell her, but not soon.

Sighing for what seemed for be the billionth time that day, I finished typing and saved the document before shutting the laptop down. Soft snores erupted from the seat next to me and I rolled my eyes.

Ha-Seon had been very determined to finish the project but fell asleep after eating all of my food.

I glanced at my phone and noted that four hours that passed since she came over. That's when I realized: When was she supposed to go home? Usually she stayed later, but even that had started to confuse me. Didn't she have parents that were super strict? Maybe I had assumed that when I learned she was top student.

Watching her cuddle into a Rikkuma plushie while sleeping told me not to wake her up by all means. Also, I started to notice how worn out she was at school while I wasn't sleeping. Today was the worst. She looked like she was about to faint.

I went into a closet and brought out a warm blanket and gently draped it over her, careful not to cover her mouth and suffocate her. She snuggled into the blanket automatically and turned over, hiding her face in the pillows.

As I was about to walk away, her hand jolted out and caught my wrist with such strength and fell forwards and on top her. I struggled to pull away but her grip was no joke. Who knew the top student had such strength.

"Let go..." I begged, but she still held on in her sleep.

Just as I was about to pry her hands away, I heard the door open and very familiar footsteps heading to the living room. I panicked and tried to tug her hand away. Just as I was about to be free, I heard Jungkook's ever so annoying gasp and Taehyung's obvious laughter fill the room.

I bit my lip and looked up in annoyance and saw the whole group all wide-eyed, already assuming what the situation looked like.

Namjoon glared me furiously.

"It's not what it looks like," I said while trying to tug her hand away once again.

"Then what is it!" Namjoon's loud voice erupted the silence. Ha-Seon stirred, her eyebrows furrowing and I watched as she let go and rolled over.

"Shut the fuck up," I hissed, whispering but almost screaming at the time, "she's sleeping, you asshole."

I quietly stalked away from the couch and was careful to not be in her arm range. Stifling a yawn, I ignored the group and went upstairs. They followed behind but Namjoon stuck close.

When I closed the door to my room, Namjoon went off.

"What were you doing to her!" he shouted in anger. I winced at the loudness of his voice and hoped it didn't reach the living room. Why was he so upset? I get that he has a crush and all on her, but damn. Does he really not trust me?

"She pulled me in her sleep," I simply answered and jumped on my bed. Jin shook his head, not believing me and Hobi just stood there along with the rest.

"Why is she even at your house to begin with?" Namjoon continued his interrogation. I narrowed my eyes at him, not liking his tone.

"We are assigned partners in our class," I scoffed, "now please, quit being so possessive."

An awkward silence fell upon us and I could feel the others grow weary at the tension. Namjoon didn't have to come barging in my house in the first place.

"Then she should go to her place and sleep," he grumbled, jealously obvious. I shot him a glare once more. Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin all started to slowly shuffle to the door, trying to escape. Hobi and Jin stood still, watching us bickering.

"Drop it," I said in a final voice, "she's tired and exhausted from schoolwork. I don't think she could stay awake on the way home anyways."

This seemed to get through his stubborn mind. Taehyung and the others had escaped, but Namjoon had calmed down and now it was just us older ones left.

I rolled over on the bed, wanting to join Ha-Seon in her dream land.

"Moving those matters aside..." Hoseok suddenly spoke in a serious voice. "We have something to take care of."
