Prolouge

Vylad's POV:
It was a day I will never forget. After coming home from a long shift at a local pizzaera in the city, I instantly crashed and fell asleep on my bed. When morning came, I got up and took a shower, since the stench of pizza and flour still lingered on my body. After cleaning myself and dressing in something comfortable, like my turtle pajamas and a black shirt, Mom called me downstairs. The smell of bacon and waffles filled the kitchen and dining room and I remembered how hungry I was. I got some breakfast, and as I was eating, Mom looked giddy and excited, but it also looked like she was about to cry. I stopped eating for a second, and asked her what's wrong. Instead of answering, she gave me a manila envelope. Raising an eyebrow, I grabbed it and opened it up. Inside was a piece of paper with the Falcon Claw University logo on it. I gasped as I saw the words,"Congratulations, you've been accepted to attend our college."
I looked at my mom. She had one tear rolling down her face. At the moment, I couldn't help but yell,"I got accepted!"
Mom embraced me,"All my babies are going to college!"
