Being me

I'm drowning in the see,
I'm being turned against.
I have no time to flee.
I have no defence.
I'm being locked in a cage,
They want me to turn.
I feel so much rage,
I have so much to learn.

I'm going to be exposed,
The real me will show.
The human in me is slowly being closed,
My eyes will start to glow.
Everyone will see the monster I am,
Even though I have swore to protect.
No one gives a dam,
I wish we had never met.

This is what it is like to be me,
Please set me free.
End me of my suffering,
I deserve to die.
I am not bluffing,
No more will I tell this lie.
It's time to say goodbye,
It's time to say goodbye.
