Divya's pov
"What's happening, Divya?" dad asked me, but I couldn't breathe or do anything
"Just calm down and breathe!" he said me calming me down.
"She is a big drama queen, she only wants attention... So much like her mother" Step ma spat at me and left
Really? Am I really a drama queen? But I'm feeling like dieing here...
"Divya, don't pay attention to her, come lets go to hospital" he said grabbing me by my elbow.
No! I'll not go to hospital! I freed my hand from him and ran, where I don't know... I just ran.. .
"Divya!!" I could hear dad calling me, but I still ran.
I ran to Sthuthi, because I knew she would be there for me
I went and banged on her door.
"Geez, wait!" she said from inside... Then she finally came from inside and greeted me with her smile
"Hey Divi!" she said softly
"Can I come in?" I asked her
"No stay outside and starve!" she said angrily, I gave her a sheepish smile.
"Come inside you idiot!" she yelled at me, I went in.
"Sthuthi, I want to talk to you" I said
"I knew it!" she said me and motioned me to sit on the sofa and she sat next to me.
"Do you really think, you want this marriage?" she asked me
"Yes, Sthuthi... I want this marriage, not to live with him.. But to break him" I said her
"Woh... Wat?" she asked me
"Yes, I want this marriage only to take my revenge" I said her making my hands fists
"Oh god... When did you become this evil Divya?" she asked me in shock.
"Sthuthi, its true that love changes a person... But the same love when broken, can kill a person" I said her
"I was betrayed by my love Sthuthi, I feel bad... I want revenge, I can't live without taking revenge now.." I said her
"Your right Divya, Tarun deserves punishment" she said
"But what are you planning to do?" she asked me
"I don't know! I came to ask you!, you're going to help me to break him, right?!" I said her
She did the unexpected, she slapped me hardly across my cheeks, I almost banged my head to the sofa's hands.
Tears started to form in my eyes, my best friend just slapped me?!
"You expect me to help you?!, you want to break him?!" she yelled at me.
"I agree he needs punishment Divya, but breaking him?! Don't you think it's a bit too much?!" she asks me in tears.
"Where is my Divya gone?! This isn't my Divya! This is Darah... Oh god! What have I gone?!" she said feeling so guilty.
"This is all my mistake!" she yelled again and started slapping herself
"No Sthuthi, stop!" I said her, I removed both her hands away
"No! I have made you a terrible person! This is all my—" I cut her off before she could speak.
"No! Sthuthi, if anyone is to blame... Then it is me. I'll go from here you calm down!" I said her, she fell on the sofa
"I can't believe you have become like this Divya! You have become like a monster!" she yelled at me again.
I left the room, I opened the door and walked away outside
Even now my best friend hates me..
The one person I thought who would love me hates me! Sthuthi from childhood took care of me and we were best friends, but now... Not anymore I guess..
I removed my phone and dialed Abhijit's number
"Hello Abhi!" I said him
"Divya, were you crying?" he asked me
"No Abhi leave me... Go to Sthuthi's house fast! She's shaken please Abi!" I begged him
"But Divya?!"
"Please!" I said him and cut the call.
I jogged towards my home. Okay now really my home
I should find another place to live, because now after knowing everything that happened... I don't think I can lice with my step mother anymore.
I went to my "house" and started packing
"Where are you going Divya?" dad asked me
"I'll go somewhere else dad... I don't want to live here!" I said
"No Divya... Live here only. You are getting engaged tomorrow, where will you go?" Step ma asked coming from behind dad
"But Step mother, I can't live here now.. Knowing the reason you hate me"
"No Divya, don't leave this place please.." she said

I don't want the news to come as 'TARUN THAIWARS BRIDE LEAVES HOME THE DAY BEFORE ENGAGEMENT'
Because this stupid news people will do anything to ruin the image of others.
"Okay, you're right.... I'll stay here" I said
After sometime Step ma came to my room.
"Your engagement dress" she said giving me the engagement dress... Oh god, it was beautiful!
"You will look beautiful in it!" she said.
