He was sound asleep, completely unaware of his surroundings and completely unaware of the catastrophe that was about to occur in his life. He was dreaming. A pleasant dream to be precise, of himself in a garden full of roses.

He was walking in a garden full of red roses, his favorite flower. Where is this place? It looked familiar. Oh wait, it's the park where he had his first date with his love. His significant other loved this place. Everything around him looked so happy and peaceful, yet there was a void in his heart albeit the serenity. He continued to walk wherever his pair of legs took him and stopped by a lake.

The lake! He remembered that his husband had asked him to meet by the lake. He recalled boating in this very lake with him and joked about the stupid rumor that if any couple boated there then they would get jinxed and their boat got capsized.

A stupid rumor.

But where was he? He called out his name but he was nowhere to be found. Did he forget? He searched for him but there was no sign of him. Then it began to rain.

He saw a building like structure at a distance and without procrastinating, he sprinted towards it for shelter. When he entered, he realized that it was a hospital.

A staff approached him and said, "Sir please come this way." He obediently followed suit him. After walking for like an eternity in that never-ending hallway, they stopped by the last room.

As soon as the man swung the door open, a strong and obnoxious smell wafted into his nose. He looked at his surroundings and realized that they had arrived at a morgue. There were several dead bodies whose faces were covered. He was wondering, why did that man bring him to the hospital morgue? He was in a state of tumult.

The man guided him to the body lying on the last bed in the corner of the room, whose face was also covered. "Sir, I hope you recognize this person." Having said that, he was slowly lifting the cloth off his face when his phone started to buzz.

He frantically woke up to find that his phone was ringing. He mentally cursed the person for calling him in an ungodly hour.

'What an odd dream!' He thought. 'I wonder what it means.'

He switched on the lamp on his nightstand and reached out for his phone. A quick glance at the alarm clock informed him that it was half past 12. After unlocking the phone, to his dismay, he found around 20 missed calls from Taehyung and at least 10 messages.

He received the call when his phone buzzed for the 21st time. The words from the other side of the line left him in a state of utter shock and terror, not realizing that his phone had slipped from his hand.

'NO!!!!!!'
