Every person has a mind of their own, has thoughts of their own and has opinions of their own. It's great to not think as all the others around us, it's great to question some things and it's great to not let what everyone thinks influence your own thoughts and ideals.
And even though all of that is true, sometimes people seem to ignore that they have a mind, that they have thoughts that can change, that they have opinions that also can change and that sometimes their opinions and thoughts are wrong.
Most people seem to believe that they have their own truth and that all their ideals are right, because in their perspective they really are. This is a problem when ignorant people refuse to use their little brains to think about things, when they refuse to see that their own ideals and thoughts are ignorant and stupid. If you have a brain, you should learn how to use it.
Jeongguk was having a great week. He and Taehyung finished their site, delivered to their professor and now all they had to do was hope it turned out okay enough for a decent grade.
They had also finished making the flags with their patterned fabric they printed on the serigraphy room and now all of the student's flags were up all over the campus. It did made the whole place brighter and more artistic and Jeongguk was happy with that, but he still thought his own flag was a bit dull.
Taehyung refused to let him think that and insisted his flag was just as amazing as the rest. Jeongguk thinks Taehyung is just too nice for his own good.
Yugyeom had chilled out from his ignorance lately and it had been a while since Jeongguk last wanted to punch his face, so that was really good.
Jimin was being just very annoying concerning Jeongguk's crush on Taehyung, but nowadays Yoongi was far more present when Jeongguk saw Jimin, and that meant the teasing was barely even there because Jeongguk threatened Jimin's life, saying that if he mentioned anything about him having a crush on Taehyung in front of Yoongi, Jeongguk was going to murder him.
To put it simple, Jeongguk was feeling good lately and maybe that is why he felt such rage boil in his stomach once he overheard a conversation between two strangers on the subway on his way back home.
Jeongguk was standing up near the closed doors, ready to jump of as soon as the subway arrived in the next station when he heard a girl that looked around his age, comment with her friend.
"So Jihyun apparently is bisexual and non binary."
The girl's friend sighed dramatically. "Honest people are coming up with such strange labels these days."
Jeongguk side eyed them and noticed the girl nodding furiously at her friend.
"I know right. Can't we all just be humans? Why do we need so many labels?"
Before Jeongguk could hear the other's reply to that, the subway arrived at his station and he jumped off.
He went up the stairs with his mind running a mile per hour and anger building up inside of him.
He hated when people said things like that, it made him so angry he wanted to go back and either punch them or give them a lecture about how wrong and ignorant they are. He could even arrange a PowerPoint presentation in order to educate them.

Hayran KurguLooking back at time Jeongguk should've known. All the signs were there, all the feelings, or in this case lack of, were also there. It was all out there clear as clean water, and yet he missed it. Jeongguk really should've known he was asexual, and...
