that man. that tall, broad shouldered man. the man with the slender hands. those hands that held your heart but subsequently crushed it. with those very hands. that man with the slender physique. the body that helped him crawl back each time. knocking on the door at midnight, begging for forgiveness. the forgiveness he didn't really need, but you so badly craved to give him. alas, each time you heard the knock. those three knocks that told you what was about to happen. the teary-eyed smile. the slight stench of some sort of liquor. "the i miss you's" and the, "let me come in's." the clash of teeth and tongue. his arms wrapped around your body, his actions asking for more than a sweet embrace. your actions asking for only that. you actions slowly succumbing to his twisted game. the game you had no intention of playing.
-
weeks, possibly months passed. there has been no word, no sight of him. him. he had once been yours. the name that was choked out by you in a flurry of tears. but choked out by others in the overwhelming pleasure he provided.

weeks, possibly months passed since you last encountered him. the last encounter. one last tangle of limbs. one last hand running through your hair. one last breathless i love you. those last words. you could feel his heart beat in his chest as he spoke.
-
"i love you" his fingers going in circles on your head. his chest exposed as you rested on it, tracing small hearts along his exposed skin. you hummed in affection, closing your eyes. tightly shut as not to let yourself cry.
"this time, i promise, i won't be going anywhere. you'll see me right here tomorrow."
-
oh how you'd wish you'd seen him the next day. to curl your arms around his figure, breathe in his warmth. yet again, before the dawn broke he had left. crept out without a noise. leaving you pining for his touch. and that was the very last time you'd see him. that's it. the game was over. did you lose or win?

there were a only handful of men like this in this world. thankfully, he was the only one you'd encountered. however the emotional torment of this illicit affair had left you reeling from heights and emotions you'd never felt before.
-
weeks, possibly months passed. the worst months of your life. the cold of november settled in. as did the cold of not having him there.

weeks, possibly months passed before you saw him again, in the warmth of april came. in that tiny coffee shop. with that tattered black coat he refused to replace. a small smile crept across your lips as you watched from the window.
-
oh all the things you were thinking as you watched through the window of the tiny coffee shop. but you were interrupted by the ding of the bell, as the door swung open next to you. the reflection in the window said it all. it was him. his coffee in his right hand. the left one buried in the pocket of his coat.

"well, if it isn't miss peeping tom," he chuckled as you whipped your head around, breathe hitching in your throat. the soft spring sun illuminated his face, making him more beautiful than all those months ago. he brought the cup up to his lips, smirking before drinking from it.

"ah, it seems you've gone mute!" you blushed, leaning into the window. you weren't playing this game again.

he held his hand out to you.
"c'mon, take a walk with me." of course, you took his hand and obliged. it's all part of his charm. the oh sehun charm.

charm? i meant game.
