Her green heels clicked along the pavement as Izzy made her way to Stan's house it was 5 minutes to midnight and Izzy was fully aware of what she was going to do.

Everyone at her family party was talking about New Year's Eve kisses how you kiss someone you hope to spend the next year with.

Izzy was 100 percent positive that she wanted to spend the next year with Stan.

So she was even more positive that she wanted to kiss him.

She looked at her watch on her wrist. 11:57.

She grabbed onto the ladder that connected to the tree house Stan had in his backyard. She then climbed over to Stan's window from there. Her heart beating in her chest.

She climbed through. Stan wasn't in there. Then he came out of the bathroom. He was wearing striped Pajamas. His curly hair looked like a wet mop.

"Izzy? What are you doing here it's almost midnight." Stan said as he walked over to his friend. The last time she was in his room late at night was in December. After Archie.

"That's the point." Izzy said she looked at her watch again. 11:59.

"What do you mean?" Stan asked curious.

"It's almost midnight on New Years ever so I came to give you a present." Izzy said with confidence.

She walked over to Stan and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Happy new year Stan." Izzy said.
