A La Luna Sangre fanfic
It was a peaceful night. Malia and Tristan started to make fire. Another bonfire to warm the cold woods. The woods became their shelter, they knew they are already lost from the right way but still they continued their journey.
Malia was still firm in her decision. That is to find Supremo and kill him just like how the prophecy was said to happen. Powerless, she braved to face her destiny.
"Ako ang itinakda. Alam ko yan. Nararamdaman ko. Pakiramdam ko hindi mangayayari ang lahat ng to kung walang dahilan. Ako ang dahilan na yon, ako ang papatay sa kanya. Ako ang tutupad sa propesiya Tristan." Malia said. Her tears are close to falling.
Tristan did not wait for another tear to fall and hurried to her side and embraced Malia tightly. "Andito lang ako, hindi man kita matutulungan sa pakikipaglaban dahil hindi ako lobo o bampira pero ipaglalaban kita gamit ang buhay ko Mahal. Kahit ikamatay ko pa, ipaglalaban kita."
Malia and Tristan have traveled far, they have lost track of time or day. All they know was they were running away.
Malia was being hunted by Veruska and her allies. They were so greedy of power that they wanted to make sure Malia won't be like Lia whose power surfaced later than expected.
Tristan went with Malia. He left everything to be with her. He promised her that for as long as he is alive, Malia will never be alone.
"Ayaw na ayaw kong umiiyak ka." he said wiping her wet cheeks. "Pinipiga ang puso ko pag nakikita kitang ganyan." he said lowering his face to Malia who did not move as Tristan moved closer to reach for her lips.
Tristan closed his eyes upon touching Malia's lips. He savored the taste of her tears, that's how her fears did taste. He wanted to erase it, to wash it all away so he kissed her some more.
The moon was bright and big that night. There were countless stars glimmering in the night sky. Not faraway, they could hear the gentle flow of the river. It seems to call them.
"Ligo tayo." Tristan with his droopy eyes and raspy voice initiated.
Malia just nodded in response, taking Tristan's hand as he helped Malia on her feet.
"Mauna ka na, dadagdagan ko lang to ng kahoy ang apoy para hindi mamatay." he told her then he slowly let go of their intertwined hands.
"Sige." Malia said with a sly curve of a smile on her face. Tristan took it as an invitation to something exciting. Tristan shook his head to sober himself up from that growing need of Malia.
"Kalma Tristan, maliligo lang kayo kasi ilang araw na kayong naglalakad at walang ligo. Yun lang, nothing more. Keep calm and maligo." he dramatically says as he quickly gathered scattered twigs and branches to add to the bonfire.
While Malia walked to the river, she started to unbutton the thick denim jacket she was wearing and placed it aside. Next, she took of her boots and discarded her khaki pants throwing it together with the jacket. Lastly, she took her camouflaged shirt over her head causing her hair to fall free. Her hair was longer now, it almost reached her waist and covered half of her front.
Malia was standing in glory under the beautiful moon with only few pieces of cloth covering her. She started to walk to the water.
She was welcomed with the refreshing, cold water. It tingled and gave her chills as she submerged her feet more. She stopped until the water reached her shoulder. There she started to swim, enduring the cold water to clean her self up.
The moment Malia went above the water again, Tristan caught her by surprise. He was already in the water without a shirt too.
"Agh!" Malia almost cursed in surprise. She covered her mouth.
