Troubles (Chapter One)

The Start

Caulifla's POV:

Kale looked at me with a slight hint of pink to her tiny cheeks, her pearly white teeth showing against her reddened lips as she smiled at the thought of coming with me to Goku's universe.

"A..are you sure you want me to come with you sis? It's....a big step and I'd be more then willing to stay here with Cabba or anyone else..''

I pretended to think for a moment before nodding my head and giving her a hug, patting her on the shoulders.

"Of course I want my little protégée to come with me, I wouldn't ask if I didn't.''

Goku and the others from his universe that came to the Tournament of Power were off a few yards from us to give us the privacy to talk to one another while our own team did the same, some conversing with U6 while the rest either sat by themselves or talked with somebody, Kale and I stood between two massive boulder like fragments that she had blasted from the floor of the stadium when she got rid of the Pride Troopers and it gave us just enough leave-way to have the conversation here. She thought for a moment, lifting her thumb to her mouth and biting at the quick like she had done many times when she awoke from the coma like state Jiren had momentarily put her in.

"Well....we can't stay in contact if I stay....but then again Cabba said he needed some help on Sadala so I might as well do that..just promise me a few things ok?''

She gave me big puppy eyes and I couldn't help but to roll my own before folding my arms under my chest.

"That would be...?"

"On this planet Earth or whatever he calls it....if you find the things you've been looking for please don't hesitate to follow what your heart wants ok? I don't want to be the cause for you not doing something that you want..''

I held back a snicker but stopped myself whenever I saw the look on her face that hinted she wasn't joking.

"Ok ok ok, Kale, it's not like i'll be going there just to look for...THAT....ok? That'll be the least of my worries. So...I guess this is goodbye then isn't it?''

We stood there in silence for a few minutes until Vados strode over to us with Champa on her heels noisily chomping away at some sort of meat that had a strong garlic fish smell, I resisted the urge to gag as I stood before the angel with a tone of respect and slight annoyance at her companion.

"Have you made the decision yet Caulifla? I need to know now if you want to be transferred over to universe 7 so I can work out another deal with the other gods and my siblings.''

She sighed and tapped the left side of her head with a perfectly red manicured finger nail.

"As you see things like these seldom happen and when they do it's usually hard to get everyone to agree to let it happen, in your case im sure there won't be a problem.''

Kale and I looked at eachother before back to Vados.

"Yeah, I've made the choice. I wanna go.''
