The young toddler walked around the busy streets only wearing a huge purple shirt, getting glances from other people every so often. Then a young lady, probably early to mid 20s, that was walking with headphones on caught the slobbery monster's attention. The baby waddled over to this lady and tugged on the bottom of her long jacket. She was wearing a pair of jeans shorts and a shirt that had the dat boi meme on it. The jacket was a thin, brown jacket.
The woman looked down and saw the infant, holding a shocked look on her face.
"H-hello? What's your name" she said as she picked up the baby.
The little girl giggled and babbled in baby talk.
"Where's your mommy and dada?" The woman asked the being incapable of speech while looking around for a distressed parent.
"I'm Serena, do you you want to stay with me until I find your parents?"
The child giggled in a responce to the question.
"Okay, just wait a little, it takes a few minutes to get there from here."
The infant snored happily as she traveled with Serena to Serena's house, barely stirring up from sleeping.
A half of an hour later Serena and Alice made their way to the house.
It was a cream colored house with green window shuttles and a door.
The woman began knocking on the door to the house, having another woman answer the door.
"Heya honey, what are you doing here so early?" The woman asked.
"I was walking and all the sudden a baby started to tug on my jacket, I couldn't find her parents so brung her home here" Serena explained to the other woman.
"What!?"
Serena showed the lady the half asleep baby that was snuggled into Serena's arms. Making the infant stir up and look around a bit.
"Oh gosh..honey... where did she come from? Also how do we even know she's a she?" The woman questioned with looking at the yawning toddler.
"I just found her on 'street st', and I'm just guessing really but I think it's a she," she answered back.
"Rebecca.. sweetheart, I need to find this child's parents! "
Rebecca was her name.
"We should call the police"
"Yeah we should" Serena agreed.
